Suche 1-Zimmer Wohnung während meiner Promotion in der Nähe der Universität

Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca, I am from the Netherlands and I am a junior scientist about to start her PhD position in September at Bielefeld University. Therefore, I am looking for a cosy 1-room apartment to stay at during this project. I don't have any prerequisites regarding the apartment, as long as it is easy to travel from to the university. The position is for three years but I am happy with a one-year contract to start with, too. It would be ideal if I could move in in middle August, if that's not possible I can start renting from August 1st. A little bit about myself - I grew up in the Netherlands but I have been abroad for the last seven years for my studies. I lived in Scotland for five years and in Sweden for one, and I absolutely fell in love with the nature in both these countries. I love being outdoors and be close to nature, such as by camping, and am very excited to move to Germany to explore the country and its culture. I could use any help finding a place in Bielefeld, please don't hesitate to get in touch! I know a bit of basic Germany but am a lot more comfortable speaking in English.
