The room is about 10 m*2 big. Its very bright, because of the big windows. The room is in a good condition if you consider that the flat already exists for some years.

The WG is located on the fifth floor (a lot of families and some WGs), few meters from the Goetheplatz. You’ll find enough possibilities for grocery shopping, such as REWE (3 min), ALDI and LIDL (10 mins) by foot. The central station is easily walkable (around 10 mins) – if you don't want to walk you can directly take the bus or the tram from the station Lessingstraße which will take you to the city, university or elsewhere.

We thought that it might be funny to describe each other. The following is written by Leon about Yumi:
You will live with Yumi, 23 years old. On a “normal” day, she’s getting up around 10.30 (she’s going to bed around 2.30am though) and waking up her roommates with her legendary “rise and shine” and has her first coffee. Next, she’s taking a shower and washing her freshly coiffed hair (very important!). On the way back from the bathroom her phone is ringing for the first time (videocalls, you know...). She’s then attending to her duties at the desk: law lectures (ideal case: philosophy of law). Her real leasures consist of music (classical music, k-pop and kay one (If you don’t know him - check him out!)), a good book and her social environment. For lunch, if you’re nice, you’ll get some korean curry (with potatoes and apples) and a good glass of red wine (Primitivo!).
To be wholeheartedly honest: Yumi is a very kind, considerate and calm person, that I (Leon) am buddy-buddy with for some time already and that I live together for 8 months now.
We thought that it might be funny to describe each other. The following is written by Yumi about Leon:
You will live with Leon (26 y.o.), who is a very open-minded guy. He is our main tenant right now, so you can count on that he will attach your light bulbs very professionally and that he will always keep your heater warm. If you meet Leon in the kitchen in the evening drinking a glass of wine or Pastis, following situations might occur:
1. Leon is raging about capitalism.
2. Leon will tell you about his work day, but in a very funny way.
3. You’ll learn some new interesting facts about random mountains in Germany.
4. You’ll find yourself deeper in the conversation about one of his lectures than you ever have been in one of your own.
All that can (but doesn’t have to) lead to a longer talk. Of course there are some nights where we cook or just drink something together, but that seems to be the standard in the flats nowadays 😉
Leon is an empathic and helpful person, but also in need of harmony. Important are his nap-times, the reading times (especially French literature) and of course the silent times among all the bullshit-talking.
We thought it would be funny if we described each other. Here's what Johannes (your future previous tenant) writes about Teresa:
Teresa (31 y.o.) is relatively new in town. She started her master's degree in journalism at JGU in November 2020 - and was really looking forward to it! In the meantime, she knows her way around Mainz pretty well, since she spends a lot of time in the fresh air. But she is always up for an exploration trip through the city. Besides her journalism stuff (she was at the student radio station in Münster for quite a long time) she likes to do a lot of sports and always stays very mindful. For her there is nothing better than playing beach volleyball with friends on a long summer evening! She regularly goes bouldering, road biking, longboarding or inline skating - and also just goes and plays basketball on the outdoor court. In the morning, she does yoga for herself almost every day. Her favorite days are those when she can do as much of it as possible. And otherwise she is always happy for (political) discussion, delicious cooking and playing games!
She is really looking forward to her new roommate and hopes to find someone who also enjoys community. And preferably also for exercise and fun! :-)
And these last paragraphs are from all of us:
There are a few things that are really important to us: We would like to maintain the flat clean. We enjoy wine and other drinks but we don't party every month and we definitley don’t want to live with nationalistic, misanthropic people that share these values.

You can write us here (WG-Gesucht) or via WhatsApp ----/-------. It would be nice if you could include some words about you too (what are you doing, what's important to you especially in a shared flat, some information about your personality). Then we will reply to you and try to find a time for a visit :)
