The apartment is nicely bright and in the room hardly people can look. Since the room goes out to the courtyard it is very quiet. Through the coikarpfenteich of the neighbors you can only hear a quiet whistle with open window, which I always found very beautiful. Kitchen and living room are fully furnished. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, a large refrigerator and an extra freezer. Since my roommate and I like to cook and bake, our kitchen is very well equipped. In the cellar there is a space for bicycles.
The location is super, right at the Westpark and super close to the city. Moreover, the Aachen forest is right around the corner, so my jogging round was always really pretty in nature. The apartment is located in a quiet one-way street. The Schanz railway and bus stop is right around the corner, so you are very well connected. Campus centers of RWTH and the city centre can be reached in 10-15 minutes walk and in 5 minutes by bike. The same applies to the Pontstraße, where there are many restaurants and bars. There are also good bus connections to the campus Melaten or also good to reach by bike. Supermarkets are not far away: Aldi, Lidl, Net and Rewe are within walking distance.
I'm leaving my apartment for 15.03 as I'm finished with my studies. I have been living together with my roommate Luna for six wonderful years and our WG won incomprehensible.
I've known Luna for six years now and I can't imagine a better roommate. We were really like a family. She is an inconceivable love and open person. For example, she introduced me directly into her circle of friends, supported me in my stressful state exam phases, by buying for me or offering me her food, throwing me out of bed in the morning, when I was on it again and then sleeping or just chatting with me for hours. Since we are in the same circle of friends we spend great time together. We definitely had no purpose. It is very organized and accordingly neat, but has never been disturbed when I left something in the bathroom or in the living room. We have usually looked at the fact that we were cleaning/cleaning at the same time, so I always enjoyed it and was very entertaining.
Hi, I'm Luna, your potential new roommate :) I'm 24 and I'm studying economic engineering in the master. From April I write master thesis and I am still in Aachen until the end of October.
It is very important to me not to live in a purpose WG. So I'd be happy if we cook something together more often, spend a relaxing evening on the couch or in the West Park or just crawl through and drink a coffee :) My friends and I regularly make a Trash-Tv evening, and of course you are welcome. Otherwise I will spend most of the time in the university for my master thesis under the week and if the motivation is hopefully enough to go to sports more often. If it suits time, I also like to bake and share it of course:)
I care about identity and cleanliness. We don't have a cleaning plan, but actually both clean up the apartment once a week and try to keep everything neat and clean in everyday life.
The price of the apartment includes internet, electricity, gas and GEZ.
I would like to hand over the wardrobe, the chest of drawers and the desk from my room to my renter*in.
Since we purchased the refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher in the WG and also for some of the furniture (dining table, living room table, living room wall, chairs) a discount payment to our renter, I would like to have 550 euros. The things are half you. When Luna moves out, she also plans to sell her share.
