Room in cosy appartment Alt-Treptow/Neukölln - 1 August - 15 February sublet

Hello!

In my beautiful, bright 2nd WG in Alt-Treptow/Neukölln, a (unfurnished) room (14m2) is available for rent with registration. The room is free from 1 August to 15 February, i.e. 6.5 months. After that, probably a friend will come in.

I, Alexandra (39), work as a political scientist at a sustainability institute focusing on decolonial, political ecology. If I don't sit at the desk, I enjoy music in different formats and also enjoy dancing 😊 (now a lot of salsa (Caleña), but also rock and – of course – techno), like cycling, spending time in nature and with friends. As a native Ruhrgebietler, the Salsa part is already an indication of my relationship with South America, where I lived and worked for eight years (in Chile, Peru and Colombia).

The apartment is home and well-being. I have experience with community life, appreciate both unity and independence and love to imagine the end of capitalism. I speak German, English and Spanish. From my way, I would call myself relaxed, humorous and contact-loving. Politically, I am much concerned with the liberation of oppression at different levels and would like to share it with my fellow residents.
To date, we organize plasters fair with a list so that everything is well distributed. My desk work takes place in the office and on about 3 days a week in the home office instead of in a separate room, which is connected to the living room, but which can be used without any problems.

The apartment (81 m2):
The 2-bedroom apartment with the spacious living room is bright and welcoming. The shared rooms include:
- A large and cozy living room (35 m2)
- A fully equipped kitchen.
- A bathroom with a window for fresh air.
- A green courtyard with table tennis table and benches.

Your room (14 m2) is unfurnished, but there is a roller blind and curtains and you can also use a wardrobe and an open wardrobe.

Location:
The apartment is located in Kiefholzstraße (12435), near the S-Bahn Treptower Park and the Landwehrkanal. The Kiez is called Alt-Treptow, but is directly at the border to Neukölln. The area is perfect for walks in nature, jogging or just enjoying. (More in the tab to the location)

The appartment is a home and feel-good-place. I have experience with communal living, appreciate both connection and independence, and love to imagine the end of capitalism. I speak German, English, and Spanish. In terms of my personality, I would describe myself as relaxed, humorous, and sociable, and I am politically engaged with the liberation from oppression on various levels, which I would like to share with my flatmate.

So far, we've organized cleaning fairly with a list, so that everything is well distributed. My desk work takes place in my office and, about three days a week, in my home office - a separate room that is connected to the living room, which can both be used in parallel without any problem.

In meiner schönen, hellen 2er WG in Alt-Treptow/Neukölln wird ein (unmöbliertes) Zimmer (14m2) zur Untermiete mit Anmeldung frei. Das Zimmer ist vom 1. August bis zum 15. Februar frei, also 6,5 Monate. Danach zieht wahrscheinlich eine Freundin ein.

Ich, Alexandra (39), arbeite als Politikwissenschaftlerin an einem Nachhaltigkeitsinstitut mit Schwerpunkt auf dekolonialer, politischer Ökologie. Wenn ich nicht am Schreibtisch sitze, genieße ich Musik in unterschiedlichen Formaten und tanze auch gerne dazu 😊 (zuletzt sehr viel Salsa (Caleña), aber auch u.a. Rock und – natüüürlich - Techno), fahre gerne Rad, verbringe Zeit in der Natur und mit Freund*innen. Als gebürtige Ruhrgebietlerin ist der Salsa-Teil schon ein Hinweis auf meinen Bezug zu Südamerika, wo ich acht Jahren gelebt und gearbeitet habe (in Chile, Peru und Kolumbien).

Die Wohnung ist Zuhause und Wohlfühlort. Ich habe Erfahrung mit gemeinschaftlichem Leben, schätze sowohl Verbundenheit als auch Unabhängigkeit und liebe es, mir das Ende des Kapitalismus vorzustellen. Ich spreche Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch. Von meiner Art her würde ich mich als entspannt, humorvoll und kontaktfreudig bezeichnen. Politisch beschäftige ich mich viel mit der Befreiung von Unterdrückung auf verschiedenen Ebenen und würde mir wünschen, dies auch mit meinen Mitbewohnenden zu teilen.
Putzen organisieren wir hier bisher fair mit einer Liste, so dass alles gut verteilt ist. Meine Schreibtischarbeit findet im Büro sowie an etwa 3 Tagen pro Woche im Homeoffice statt in einem separaten Raum, der an das Wohnzimmer angeschlossen ist, das aber währenddessen problemlos genutzt werden kann.

Die Wohnung (81 m2):
Die 2-Schlafzimmer-Wohnung mit dem geräumigen Wohnzimmer ist hell und einladend. Zu den gemeinsam genutzten Räumen gehören:
- Ein großes und gemütliches Wohnzimmer (35 m2)
- Eine voll ausgestattete Küche.
- Ein Badezimmer mit einem Fenster für frische Luft.
- Ein grüner Innenhof mit Tischtennisplatte und Bänken.

Dein Zimmer (14 m2) ist unmöbliert, aber es gibt ein Rollo und Vorhänge und wahlweise kannst du auch einen Schrank und einen offenen Kleiderschrank nutzen.

Lage:
Die Wohnung ist in der Kiefholzstraße (12435), in der Nähe der S-Bahn Treptower Park und des Landwehrkanals. Der Kiez nennt sich Alt-Treptow, ist aber direkt an der Grenze zu Neukölln. Die Gegend ist perfekt für Spaziergänge in der Natur, zum Joggen oder einfach nur zum Genießen. (Mehr im Tab zur Lage)
