A clean, cozy, fully furnished and quite room even though its heading to a main street. Sensitive people might hear sounds from the traffic.
You have a dark curtain to cover the light, bed sheets, a table, a chair, a wardrobe and a mirror, WLAN, laminate floor, the walls provide a good sound reduction from other rooms. You dont hear anything from the neighbours.
We are located at Karl-Marx-Str. just 100 m away from U Station Rathaus Neukölln - the heart of Neukölln!. You are in the center of vivid artsy underground music, galleries, bars, exhibitions but its also a very crowded area with a lot of shops. Neukölln has the highest population density. We have the shopping mall Rathaus Center on our right side, which has advantages like several sevices from post, banks, grocery, supermarkets like KAUFLAND, ROSSMANN, LIDL close by- A bunge of fast food and restaurants around as well. Disadvantage is clearly the level of noise, light pollution, certain intensity and stress. But shops like our SPÄTI (late night shop) in front of door make you feel some cozy neighbourhood vibes:)
This apartment currently consists of a flat share of 5 rooms/ 5people!
*At daytime you usually find only 1 person at home, another one only comes on weekends -> you may not meet them. The kitchen is tiny but has a cute wooden seating corner, its the only common space for the flat mates to meet.
*Smoking is not allowed, though 2 flatmates smoke in their private rooms
*There are 2 small dogs in the house. They are friendly and stay in K.s room always. But if you meet them they are happy about people.
*the ambience: The place is not fancy, its more rough and artsy, plants and paintings make some cozy atmosphere, some spots of the walls are in need of refurbishment
*we have a cleaning system and depend on everyones regular cleaning according to the rotation system, still you do find dishes and stuff left for some time, we talk about needs and try to meet the needs of the others regarding cleaning, noise etc. and we wish to have someone who can communicate their needs nicely too :)
Attention: Currently there is no washing machine, so you have to go to the wash center around the corner for 5€/machine
