Hi guys!
I want to sublet my room in a shared apartment in a prime location in Berlin Schöneberg for the summer. The room is part of a spacious 3-room apartment in an old building on the 1st floor. It features beautiful wooden floors and 4-meter-high ceilings, along with a kitchen equipped with an espresso machine, dishwasher, and washing machine, all included in the package. :)
You shouldn't be afraid of heights, though, as my bed is two meters high - I always find it very cozy up there!
The flat is in the back building on a quiet street in Schöneberg, yet superbly well-connected and next to a vibrant, diverse and queer-friendly neighborhood. Within a three-minute walk, you can reach all sorts of restaurants and bars. There are also several supermarkets nearby. From Nollendorfplatz (6 minutes on foot), you can take 3 different subway lines, with U2 for example you reach Bahnhof Zoo in 4 minutes and Mitte in under 10 minutes. Lots of buses make the connection to all parts of Berlin and the long-distance station Südkreuz very easy.
If you need a bit of nature, I, for example, like taking the U3 to the lake "Krumme Lanke" which is super nice - just 25 minutes on the subway and you're in the forest at a really nice lake I've been swimming in a lot. Also the Tiergarten is quite close and is a park with very nice areas to relax.
As my roommate and I will be on vacation and traveling for work, we won't be needing the apartment for the next two months. A good friend of ours, Moritz, will be living there from August 15th, and we are now looking for a nice roommate for him!
In our spacious kitchen, cooking together is always enjoyable. However, Moritz won't be in Berlin for the entire time either, as he, like Francesca and me, is a professional musician and often travels for work. (No worries, he'll not be practicing in the flat. He can practice in the Universität der Künste which is very close to our place.)
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Regarding the timeframe, we can discuss that further. Additionally, there might be the possibility for you to take another room in our apartment without a loft bed, in case that's a concern for you. Just let me know!
Cheers! Karo
