The room is located on the upper floor of our duplex apartment WG. On about 14m you can create your own kingdom adjacent to our spacious kitchen. Your room is right next to my own in the north-west direction under a roof slope. Although this limits the options for the furnishing, it also has a certain cosiness factor :D Thanks to the 4.OG you also have plenty of light, from the afternoon the sun also comes around. In summer it is not too warm.
The room goes out to the street, which is very low in traffic. The floor is the finest oak parquet, the heating really gives you warmth in winter.
Our apartment is located in the 4th and 5th OG of a typical Friedrichstadt old building. She's in front of the
"Ur-WG" was completely renovated about 6 years ago, so the basic equipment on floors and tiles is top. In the basement is next to the large hallway and parking space under the stairs also the bathroom with bathtub and washing machine. Upstairs is the large kitchen incl. Dishwasher, large sofa and roof terrace, two additional rooms and the bathroom with shower. You can choose freely between the baths, so in the morning there is no stress when finishing. The kitchen is the very heart of the WG for Netflix, wine, skat and evenings. Directly connected is one of the two balconies with beautiful views and a barbecue area. You look from here towards the old town or
Plauen and Löbtau. Generally speaking, friends are welcome.
Otherwise, a cellar compartment belongs to the apartment and in the backyard is a lot of space for bicycles, garbage cans and huge cherry trees. Our neighbors are very mixed, from the Mädels-WG on the ground floor to dog friends: inside on 1st 0G, families with children to the radio-Opa are all there. Nobody complained about parties or the like.
The two large rooms in the basement are free, as well as one of the upper rooms. So if you're thinking about moving into a WG together with friends, that would be a good chance. Otherwise, you will have the opportunity to pick up new people and to take you here in the mood.
The apartment is located in southern Friedrichstadt, almost on the border to Löbtau. Thanks to the Cottaer Strasse stop, which is about 5 minutes away, you can comfortably travel in all directions with the 2 and 6. The 6 will bring you back home safe from the city at night. The train station in Mitte is about 5 minutes by bike and the S-Bahn station Freiberger Straße is also within easy reach. The Weißeritzgrünzug also offers a super cross connection between Freiberger Straße, Friedrichstadt and Löbtau. Accordingly, it is also not far to various sports facilities (SBB-Kletterhalle, Schwimmhalle, Fitnessstudios, Table tennis boards of any kind...)
There is also a lot of shopping:
Penny, Aldi, DM and Lidl are in direct vicinity. The Kesselsdorfer Straße with Rewe and Co. is also fixed or two stops with the 6.
The Gisela is also just a few minutes away.
If you have a car, there is always a parking space in the area. A17 needs a quarter of an hour.
Pascal remains in the WG. He loves sports, is very musical, comes from Görlitz and has been living in the WG for three years. His topics are mainly games - both online and offline. In any case, he has brought a considerable collection of board games, which includes a few specials in addition to the usual classics. Together with friends, he has already organised one or other poker evening with us. In summer he likes to be out on the bike, outdoor swimming pool or beach volleyball field. In winter he likes to train in the hall. Overall, he is a quiet but sociable type, which will certainly be well understood with your friends.
