Hey dear WG room seekers :)
! A small note: Our WG is NOT in Freiburg, but in HEITERSHEIM, approx. 20-25 km south (west) from Freiburg!!
If this circumstance doesn't scare you right away, you might have an interest in the beautiful room that will be released in our super spacious and cozy 4some (house) WG in Heitersheim at the beginning of February?!
Since I will start a somewhat longer trip, I will give my room to a reliable person in the long term.
The exact collection date can and must still be discussed, as my departure is not yet exactly fixed on the day. It definitely runs out at the beginning of February.
To the room:
It is about 17 m2 large and rectangular (almost square) cut. Due to the two large windows (orientated to the northeast/west) it is very bright in the room all day, and at the same time it does not heat up so brutally in the summer, since then only early in the morning and late afternoon/ evening the sun shines directly into the room. There are also roller shutters (and curtains) on both windows.
The room is currently furnished and I would also like to leave a part of the furniture (this is primarily a large wardrobe and a desk) in the room. However, the takeover of these furniture is not a must and can be negotiated if you, for example, prefer to bring your own furniture.
Heitersheim is a beautiful quiet small town near Bad Krozingen, approx. 20-25 km south (west) from Freiburg. It is very close to the Black Forest, ideal for sports and relaxation.
You need the train approx. 15-20 min to Freiburg, trains run several times per hour. From our house to the station in Heitersheim you can walk in under 10 minutes.
In Heitersheim there are everything you need: supermarkets, bakeries and other shops are within walking distance and there are some restaurants and snacks.
For the first time in general:
We have a whole house, more precisely two floors, for us. We only share the house with an electrician who has his office in the EC, so that you can meet him at most under the week, and a tenant who also lives among us a small apartment, takes care of the house and the property and is super nice and relaxed.
The heart of our WG is the developed attic! We have a table stool, a greasy facility, a bar, a huge TV and several sofas. We always have a visit and everyone loves our WG because of the attic. Here we all meet more often (collectively) whether looking for a cozy series, watching football or playing station. On the attic can also be smoked (of course regularly ventilated), but in the remaining apartment is not smoked.
We have a very well-stocked kitchen equipped with everything you could need for cooking.
In our dining room (better known as "Bierpong/Raclette room") we like to welcome guests to the food or even sit in front of the Raclette device, and at house parties the room is used for drinking games (as the name already reveals). Such house parties take place more or less regularly (1-2 times a year, depending on the pleasure and mood). Above all, our annual almost legendary Halloween party must not be missing. If we have a pleasure and in summer, for example, throw a "beach party", we like to use our small but fine garden and pack the mini pool and the parasols and parasols. Otherwise, in this garden can also be grilled comfortably, table tennis played or simply frozen in the sun.
For the enthusiasts: inside and outside you there is also a home workshop set up in our garage, which can provide all possible tools and can be used by you as desired.
Now to your (possibly future) roommates:
Davide:
He works in the nursing area and is a very talented home worker and auto-screwer.
He loves to settle comfortably on the attic, ideally still under his heated ceiling.
He is a super relaxed dude with which you can also talk super well.
Alex:
He studies politics and is currently in the Master's degree. He also works for the Fraunhofer Institute. He likes to hike and is also at the one or other kick on the Bolzplatz. Otherwise he's going to celebrate occasionally and is for almost any fun.
Amines:
He's just doing a training as a nurse and, just like Davide, is very auto-motivated, so the two always have enough conversational material and like to lash a bit. He is also a great supporter of his home football club Raja Casablanca and likes to cruist on his e-scooter (mainly to get to the station).
I would say that all three are quite relaxed and nice guys, the Bock also have something to start together (not just on the attic) and with which you can have a good time. So if you have Bock what to do, you can just hit the others and it can be good that they are there (or at least one of them). At the same time, all of us take time for themselves, and this is not a problem at all and completely fine with us. If you should be dissatisfied with anything, you can appeal to others at any time.
To keep the floor clean, we have monthly changing cleaning services or Tasks. With regard to the cleaning topic and other WG matters, however, the guys are basically also open to new ideas and suggestions regarding implementation.
We are looking for a cool person who can identify a little with our "Lifestyle" here in the WG and for example Bock has to hang together on the attic (instead of always retreating to his own room).
