Our beautiful house is located in Freiburg Herdern, about 5min walking distance from the old village square. There are 7 great people living on two floors. We've been living together for a long time and made it very comfortable. A beautiful, family atmosphere, but also unobstructed atmosphere, is very important to us.
In the upper floor, your ca. 10sqm large room. Small, but very, very fine. It has a large window with east orientation and is therefore mainly sunny and bright in the morning. The room would be from mid-March to approx. Beginning/mid May free, the exact data we can also discuss flexibly. The room rental is 420 EUR all inclusive / month.
Each floor has its own kitchen and bathroom, as well as a warm wood stove in the hallway, which offers a pleasant warmth especially in the cold days. The garden is fantastic, not only in summer with tables, chairs and hammocks, as it can be comfortably cuddled around the fireplace :) With the aid of planting the beds is of course optional. :)
Note: The pictures show the upper floor, including kitchen and bathroom. Despite two self-contained apartments on two floors, we understand ourselves as a 7 WG. Below is a larger kitchen for more extensive management and a bathroom, that can of course be eliminated at stomping times.

The cottage is located in Herdern directly at the best Thai town. By bike you are in the city centre in 10 minutes, at the tributary, in the Wiehre. In the other direction you can walk in the forest and on the Sonnhalde with a view to the Kaiserstuhl and the Vosges.
In the immediate vicinity there is a baker, the Herdermer village square with Edeka, Bioladen, Apotheke, Sparkasse, several cafes, a delicious ice cream parlour and on Tuesdays and Fridays to the Herdermer market, which is highly recommended.
Bus 27 departs directly in front of the front door.
The fact that we are all professional and are also a lot on the move in addition to our professions makes it rare that everyone is there at the same time. Just as rarely does it happen that you are all alone and so every evening you get a dim of roommates who cooks together, drinks coffee together, work together, sits on the balcony and crawls.
We share our foods and get a regional vegetable box where you can participate - but don't have to.
