The room is located in the top floor of a Mehrfamilienhaus. The room is furnished with a bed, desk, clothing racks and some chests/storage spaces. The kitchen is also fully equipped with an oven and a microwave.
Each floor lives seperately and the top floor is a WG of 5 people.
The house is located in Irminfriedstraße and it takes 10 minutes of walking (only 2-3 minutes by bike) to get to the S-Bahn and 13 minutes to the bus station Gräfelfing. If using a bike to the train station it takes 25 minutes to reach Munich Hauptbahnhof. It is also possible to use a bus to reach U6 Großhadern in a similar time. As shopping options an Edeka is very close the train station and there is a Lidl around a kilometer away from the house.
The location of the house is very green and really suitable for running/biking and it is very quick on the weekend to go the Starnberger See for a swim or hiking in the beatiful nature of Bayern.
Your roommates will be master students and mostly everyone keeps to themselves, but people also occasionally cook together and some people in the house play soccer together on the weekends. There is a cleaning plan where one person cleans the shared spaces on the floor for the week (corridor/kitchen/bathroom). Cleanliness and respect for the WG life is expected
A washing machine is available for no additional cost and there is also a dishwasher.
It is also possible to rent the room for short-middle term if looking for a more permanent option in Munich.
