This room faces south and gets lots of sunlight throughout the day. It is equipped with a bed, a mattress, a nightstand, a closet, a clothes rack, a desk, a chair, and a shelf for small things.
(This ad was published by the girl who's the current tenant. She is moving out in August, so we decided that I publish this ad under my account to find new tenants to take over her room.)
The flat is located in a quiet neighborhood in northern Kirchheim. The tram station "Albert-Fritz-Straße" of 26 is 3 minutes walk away. The bus station "Königsberger Straße" of 33 is 6 minutes walk away. You can reach the main railway station / Hauptbahnhof with tram in 5-10 minutes, the Bismarckplatz in 20 minutes. There is a small yard in the entrance for bike parking, with a rain shield cover.
You can register this address for yourself after October.
It is a 4-room flat with:
- 1 bathroom with a toilet and a guest toilet
- 1 big kitchen with an oven, a microwave, and dining table for 6 people
- 4 small fridges in the kitchen, you can have your own fridge
- We have a cleaning duty form that is adaptable based on each person’s schedule.
About the other staying WG members:
I, Lennox (24) come from China and studies scientific computing for Master's degree. I'm open to new things and take care of the grocery shopping for items used by all, such as toilet paper, kitchen towel, and dish soap.
Eloy (25) comes from Spain and is doing his PhD in physics. He is very friendly and nice. If you're also a soccer and chess lover, he's definitely someone to chat with:)
Another two girls are both moving out at the beginning of August, so actually there are two rooms available.
The most important thing for us is communication, we often talk about our requests and wishes openly and in a comfortable way. Since Eloy and I both don't speak German (we're learning though:D), it's better that you can speak English.
The room is available from 1st August.
You're expected to
- be neat and do the daily cleaning according to the duty table.
- stay quiet after 12pm, a big party is not preferred.
The washing machine is in the basement, where you need to pay each time (2€/120min) to do your laundry.
The Warmmiete covers water and heating. The fees of electricity, WLAN and TV are split by all, which will cost you around 30-50 Euros per month.

⭕ Verkehrsanbindung: 4 Minuten zu Fuß zur Straßenbahnlinie 26, die Sie in 20 Minuten zum Bismarckplatz und in 5-10 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof bringt. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum S-Bahn-Bahnhof Heidelberg-Kirchheim/Rohrbach, von wo aus der Zug 3 Minuten bis zum Hauptbahnhof benötigt. Direkte Züge (RB) zum Hauptbahnhof Frankfurt und S3 nach Mannheim, Karlsruhe und anderen Städten.
⭕ In der Nähe: Bequemer Zugang zu den Supermärkten Rewe, Aldi und Lidl für Lebensmittel und tägliche Bedürfnisse.
⭕ Mitbewohner: Derzeit wohnen hier drei Master- und PhD-Studierende der Universität Heidelberg (2 Männer und 1 Frau), alle freundlich, sauber und ruhig.
⭕ Zimmer: Ungefähr 14 Quadratmeter, voll möbliert mit einem Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Kleiderschrank und Einzelbett. Der Mietzeitraum ist vom 1. August bis 1. Oktober, mit der Option auf langfristige Miete danach. Die Warmmiete beträgt 400€/Monat, mit einer Kaution in Höhe einer Monatsmiete. Keine zusätzlichen Kosten (keine Nebenkosten). Bevorzugt werden Personen, die an einer langfristigen Miete interessiert sind.
⭕ Ausstattung: Gemeinschaftsküche und -bad / Wascheinrichtungen / Mikrowelle / Ofen / Kühlschrank / Herd.
⭕ Anforderungen: Mieter müssen sauber sein, keine Haustiere haben und keine Partys veranstalten. Langfristige Miete bevorzugt.
