Das Zimmer ist ca. 18qm groß und sehr hell (morgens bis mittags auch sonnig), da gegenüber keine Häuser stehen. Dafür fährt gegenüber von der Wohnung ab und zu die S-Bahn vorbei, was allerdings kaum zu hören ist, bei geschlossenen Fenstern eigentlich gar nicht. Das ganze Haus wurde gerade erst frisch saniert, weswegen alles sehr neu ist.
Im Zimmer befinden sich ein Bett, ein großer Spindschrank, eine Kommode und ein Regal, das ich so angebracht habe, dass ich das untere Brett als Schreibtisch benutzen kann. Da ich nicht viele Möbel besitze, ist aber theoretisch auch noch Platz für einen "richtigen" Schreibtisch oder ein weiteres Regal, wenn dies benötigt wird.
Ich vermiete das Zimmer möbliert, grundsätzlich lässt sich aber über alles sprechen, wenn z.B. einzelne Möbel untergebracht werden müssen.
The room is about 18 square meters and very bright (sunny in the morning until noon), as there are no houses opposite. On the other hand, the suburban train passes opposite the apartment from time to time, but this is hardly audible, not at all when the windows are closed. The whole house has just been refurbished, which is why everything is very new.
In the room there is a bed, a large locker, a chest of drawers and a shelf that I have arranged so that I can use the bottom shelf as a desk. As I don't have much furniture, there is theoretically room for a “real” desk or another shelf if needed.
I am renting the room furnished, but in principle we can talk about everything if, for example, individual pieces of furniture need to be accommodated.
Die Wohnung liegt etwas ruhiger im Leipziger Osten, in Sellerhausen. Die nächste Bahnstation ist aber nur 5min zu Fuß entfernt. Mit der Bahn oder dem Fahrrad ist man innerhalb von 5min an der Eisi oder in 15min in der Innenstadt und an der Uni. Auf der Eisi gibt es zahlreiche Bars, Spätis und Cafés und sehr viele Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen.
Direkt um die Ecke ist außerdem der Stünzer Park, durch den man auch schnell nach Reudnitz oder Anger-Crottendorf kommt. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind Rewe und Aldi, die auch zu Fuß zu erreichen sind.
The apartment is in a quiet location in the east of Leipzig, in Sellerhausen. However, the nearest train station is only a 5-minute walk away. By train or bike you can be at the Eisi within 5 minutes or in 15 minutes in the city center and at the university. There are numerous bars, Spätis and cafés on the Eisi and lots of options for eating out.
Just around the corner is Stünzer Park, which is also a quick walk to Reudnitz or Anger-Crottendorf. The nearest supermarkets are Rewe and Aldi, which are also within walking distance.
Da ich für ein Praktikum sechs Monate nach Köln gehe, wirst du mit Lea zusammenwohnen. Sie wohnt schon ein paar Jahre in Leipzig, macht gerade ihren Bachelor fertig und wird dann wahrscheinlich ab Oktober/November anfangen zu arbeiten. Lea ist eine tolle und aufmerksame Mitbewohnerin. Sie ist gerne unterwegs, auf Partys, in Bars, am See oder beim Sport und interessiert sich für Design, gutes Essen und Zeitgeschehen. Mit ihr kann man gut in der Küche oder auf dem Balkon versacken, tanzen gehen oder sich auch einfach ganz entspannt zurückziehen. Wir haben ein sehr sweetes und liebevolles Zusammenleben und es ist uns wichtig, sich wohl zu fühlen, Dinge ansprechen zu können. Worauf wir keine Lust haben sind diskriminierendes und rechtes Gedankengut.
As I'm going to Cologne for six months for an internship, you'll be living with Lea. She has been living in Leipzig for a few years, is just finishing her bachelor's degree and will probably start working in October/November. Lea is a great and attentive flatmate. She likes to be out and about, at parties, in bars, at the lake or doing sports and is interested in design, good food and current affairs. She's great to hang out with in the kitchen or on the balcony, go dancing or just relax. We have a very sweet and loving life together and it's important to us to feel comfortable and to be able to talk about things. What we don't want is discriminatory and right-wing ideas.
