Hi all,
I am moving out of a neat and tidy room in a beautiful apartment in Finthen. The room is 11 cm2 and has two windows: one small that opens up to the courtyard while the bigger one faces the street. The bigger window has shutters that can block out sunlight completely while the other one doesn't have curtains. The ceiling is high enough for large wardrobes and has a radiator that works quite well. The room has three power sockets that work well. The lighting in the ceiling is bright and there's also a lamp that can provide milder light for the evenings.
The apartment is only 2 minutes away from the nearest bus stop. Buses 56, 58 go straight to the central station while buses 71 and 78 also stop by. There are two stores (REWE and Penny) in 3 minute walking distance as well as a few restaurants (including a Michelin-star restaurant just fyi) that are also within 5 minutes from the apartment. If you like hiking, you only need to go down two streets to reach beautiful orchards where you'll see all sorts of fruits and veggies growing during harvest season.
The flatshare is currently a mixture of people from all around the world. Kiki, our German representative, is always there to provide a helping hand if you ever get stuck on complicated German paperwork. She is also at hand if you ever feel like getting completely humbled at Uno (and no I am not bitter about it)... Micha, after living in Australia her whole life, is now working as a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute of Chemistry, and she is trying to figure out how stalagmites can inform us about climate patterns (not weather patterns - do not get those confused around her...). Then there's Munsu, our South-Korean traveller who likes hiking, exercise, and giving other people food (this is definitely a very nice perk of living at this apartment). And then there's me :)
Now, you should know that Munsu and Micha will be moving out in the next two months so the flatshare will mostly be occupied by newbies :) So you will be able to establish a nice connection from the get-go
We would like the new tenant to have a credit report and either a proof of income or a guarantee if the income is not sufficient. Otherwise there are no specific restrictions except for a nice attitude :) Looking forward to hear from you
