The room is about 17 square meters and has a beautiful view of the green (and that in the squares!) The beautiful parquet floor and the small niche in the wall make the room really cozy and through the windows comes the day through a lot of light. The windows have a roller shutter, in summer it remains relatively cool.
I will leave a high wardrobe in the room at my extract, which offers plenty of storage space and uses the ceiling height perfectly.
The room goes out to the back, from your window you look into the garden that all residents of the house can use. There is grilled in and around, but under the line there is relatively little loose. I celebrated wonderful (birth-day)garden parties there and will miss the garden very much! Once again, you will probably get a visit from a little curious squirrel on your window.
In the apartment there is a spacious kitchen with two sofas, next to your and the three other WG rooms. There are a total of two refrigerators and two large compartments in the kitchen cabinet where you get all the kitchen utensils and supplies well below. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, microwave, waffle iron, toaster, popcorn machine etc. There is also a bathroom (with toilet and shower bath) and an additional separate toilet. In the hall there is a large wardrobe and in a large compartment under the ceiling you can store bulky things like big backpacks, suitcases, etc.
If you have a bike, you can leave it in the courtyard.
The location of the apartment is an absolute highlight: In L11 you live exactly between the university and the main railway station and are optimally connected to local and remote traffic. In addition, you are in the squares in a few minutes on the Rhine bank or (in the other direction).
Your roommates in L11 are Maxi, Sven and Maren. I lived with the threes for about two years, and I really find it hard to get out. Over time we've become really good friends and I'm glad I don't get too far away. With Maxi and Sven you can spend great evenings in the sturdy dungeon (directly around the corner) or another pub of your choice and the two will definitely take you on a hockey or Waldhof game or take a bike tour with you in the summer! With Maren you can make yourself comfortable in the kitchen with a glass of wine and a good conversation, and she guarantees you to enjoy one of her famous cappuccinos. As a WG you will play a few board games, while the barbecue season will surely spend some lasy evenings on Maxis balcony and build your own little open-air cinema in the summer.
Maxi, Sven and Maren are all professional. However, the working hours complement each other quite well, we have never had traffic jam in the bathroom. You will quickly find a good rhythm that matches your daily routines.
