our WG, honestly, we are a student connection and not a simple WG, offers/offer everything you need as a student in Münster:
- a beautiful house, right in town
- 8-10 min to WWU (most faculties)/10 min to FH
- located directly at a bus stop (the bus network in Münster is very good!)
- in the middle of the city and just 5 minutes from the pub district
- 8 new friends in your WG ummm on the connecting house
- and above all: lots of fun and variety besides your studies!
What?
We are the young students and members of Sorabia-Westphalia. We Soraben-Westphalia are members of an unpolitical and unconstitutional student connection. Since “1716” we have set ourselves the goal of promoting friendships that also exist beyond our studies. We help each other to study and offer the opportunity to unlock a large and generations of overarching circle of friends.
What are you doing?
In the coming winter semester we are planning many events, a city trip and many evenings in the circle of the connection.
If that woke up your interest, we would be happy to show you our house and then maybe to drink one or other beer in our in-house bar.
What are you doing?
4 rooms of 10 m2 and 25 m2.
Own furniture has to be brought (unfortunately), but if necessary we can also put a bed, a wardrobe and a desk.
WHAT DO YOU OUR CONSUMER HOUSE?
In addition to the eight active rooms, we have a variety of other rooms that we use together. Among them a kitchen on each floor, several bathrooms, rooms for events, a balcony, our cozy club room, as well as our fairy/society room.
Not to be forgotten is our already mentioned bar, where there is often a lot of rainy driving.
WO KANNST DU UNS FINDEN?
- Our house is centrally located on Wilhelmstraße in Münster. The bus stop “Wilhelmstraße” right in front of the door and a 2-minute walk to the castle garden are the highlight of our house.
- There are all important facilities in the immediate vicinity (e.g. supermarket, restaurants and a whole range of bars and pubs...)
- The paths to the university are short: 8 - 10 minutes (walking) to the Juridicum & Central Library and 10 minutes to the FH.

- Every student at the WWU/FH who wants to get involved in the community.
As Soraben Westphalia, we are open and tolerant.
- Almost everything is also represented in the fields of study.

In our connection, the former housekeepers, who are now in professional life, support young students: almost a reverse generation contract.

The location of our house is ideal for students.
Large areas such as medicine, law, economics and the university library can be reached by bike in a few minutes.
The same applies to the FH at Leonardocampus.
And if the bus should be desired, you will not find a bus stop two minutes from the front door.
In this distance you will find a REWE for daily food needs.
The York Center (Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, dm, Pharmacy etc.) is just a few pedal steps (in minutes: 5).
Buses like Line 1, 3, 5, 563, R64 and the night bus depart from the front door two minutes.
However, if you prefer the two-wheel to the four-wheel, as it belongs to a real Münsterian student, you cycle to the city centre for 10 minutes. Restaurants, bakeries etc. are also not far away.
You need less than 10 minutes walk to the FH, Leo-Campus and Uni-Sportanlage.
Also interesting: The Jüdefelderstraße is about 5-10 Radel minutes away.
In this part of the ad we try to clean up a few clichés for the first time. Compounds are often considered conservative & elite. In addition, some are said to be right-wing or feminine. All prejudices that certainly have their origins somewhere. Also in the connecting landscape there are certainly connections to which we avoid contact or even prevent it by constitution. What is there to say to us?
We are a compulsory and democratically structured student connection.
It is important to us to combine tradition and modernity in a fun student life within a friendship-based community.
Regularly we organize excursions, celebrations or even just quite normal fun evenings.
In addition, we often organize interesting seminars and lectures, such as on time management in studies, but also on general cultural matters.
Because the most important thing for us is still studying, of course we are happy to help each other. It doesn't matter what religion or origin you have, because what counts for us is friendship based on our principles. We reject extreme political positions.
Of course, it is possible to look at the rooms and our house without obligation. If you have a longer journey before you, we can also offer you an overnight stay in our guest room.
