Moin and welcome to your new room.
This is a beautiful, light-flooded room that has windows both to the west and the south side. This is particularly advantageous in the summer, because the WG is in the attic and it can quickly become a bit warmer here. With you in the room, you can fortunately ventilate well. The radiator is unfortunately somewhat older, but heats up the room well in winter within a short time.
The room is completely white painted, but has traces of use in the form of holes or cracks in the wallpaper. On the floor is beautiful dark brown laminate laid and the room is unfurnished. You are allowed to free the room if it is returned to white when it is removed.
In addition, the connection for internet, telephone and TV is in the room, which is why the corresponding devices have their place here. This should ideally not bother you as much as the roof slopes, of which there are throughout the WG.
The WG is located in the south of Münster in a rather quiet but fortunately not remote location. It is located in the immediate vicinity of a bakery and the nearest shopping facility is an ALDI that you reach with the bike in 5 minutes. Until the "center" of Gremmendorf it takes less long and there is a Rossmann, Imbisse, a post office branch, doctors and pharmacies.
There is also the stop "Gremmendorfer Weg", from where buses of lines 6 and 8 depart every 10 minutes. The stop "Gremmendorf Ehrenmal" is not a 4 minute walk from the WG, but here a bus of line 8 runs "only" every 20 minutes. The night buses from Hbf in the direction of Gremmendorf drive half hour after hour until 10:00. On Sundays to Thursdays, the last bus departs at 1 o'clock, on Fridays and Saturdays it runs almost all night.
Both by bus and bicycle, you will need about 10 minutes to the market shop Loddenheide, 15 minutes to Hawerkamp/Hafen and 20 minutes to Hbf Münster. The market purchase offers everything for daily life, which is not found at ALDI and Rossmann, and at the port you can go out great in summer and celebrate even better at Hawerkamp.
From the WG you can walk in less than 15 minutes in nature. There are numerous possibilities for walks or walks, which I personally appreciate. The fields and valleys around Loddenbachsee and Werse offer you possibilities of recreation, but also the canal can be reached on foot as well as by bike to relax here or spend beautiful summer days.
The WG is located in a 4 party house, where there has never been any trouble with the neighbors. There are no children living in the house, only the family has a floor deeper to visit nieces and nephews. Otherwise you hardly get anything from the other residents in the house.
Hi, hello!
I am Florian, 31 years old and possibly your future roommate. Since my previous roommate Rowena has completed her bachelor's degree, and now I'm looking for a new person who wants to move in here. Here I want to give you an impression of the WG and me.
To me:
I've been living in this WG for a little longer and started my Master of Education at the University of Münster in April. My subjects are English and history and I work in parttime at Cineplex Münster. These are basically the two factors that determine my life most. I spend most of my time studying or working. Especially the job ensures that I'm out of my house rather than unconventional times. My main hours of work are in the evening and on weekends, which is why I often come home after midnight and especially in the morning and on working days in the WG.
My interests are basically the same things as they share most other people. My basic fitness is important to me, which is why I have a daily target of 10,000. I try to go for a walk every day without work and recharge fresh air. I supplement this by running units and weight exercises at home. In addition, this year I have the intention of going back regularly. Maybe you're interested in escorting me here or at my walks.
Otherwise, I'm a movie and serial fan, as the posters in the kitchen might betray. Unfortunately, the motivation for the cinema visit is often not enough, as I already work there. I'm too often sitting in front of TV at home. Maybe that's changing, if you're interested in joint cinema visits. My greatest passion is to listen to music, doing so with headphones, so no fear of noise. Only when I put the music must be loud. And I like to collect and read Mangas, which should make a look into my room quickly clear. So, if you're a fan, I'm happy about recommendations.
Living together:
To live together in the WG, two points are important to me. First of all, the WG represents a retreat and recovery location for me and here I recharge my inner batteries. Since I'm a rather introverted person, I'd like to get back a little longer and avoid contacts. This WG is clearly not intended to be a pure purpose move, but there will still be times when we live past each other because everyday life simply takes too many energies. This should be understood. In my experience, however, there are enough opportunities for good discussions and joint activities. This has always worked very well in the past with my roommates, because they were very similar and needed their retreat. But you can also tap on my room door at any time and look for contact, I should lose my eyes too much in common.
This also corresponds to the second, important point that we should meet at eye level in the WG. I like to live in a 2nd WG because there is never a majority that can conjure up against the rest of the roommates. I address problems directly, and I expect you to do so. I want you to feel as secret in the WG as I do. That is why you must and must also determine life in the WG. We will probably not always be in agreement, but we will always find a compromise. If you want to change or change something, you can bring your ideas in so that we'll both feel at home. Just please don't eat problems into you, but look for the conversation with me. I definitely won't take your head off.
That's basically what I want from you. Everything else is actually only organisational, which can be resolved personally. I'd be happy if you're a friendly and open minded person. As I said, I don't want a purpose WG. Just as there should be retreats, I wish that we can understand each other and take part in mutual life. This should be done without compulsion and too high expectations. We both live a life with heights and depths and that should be respected. Neither you nor I should feel uncomfortable in their own four walls because the impression is that the other person is guilty. Hopefully we share this attitude.
I already own the most important things that it needs for everyday life, so that the WG is equipped with all the basics. In the kitchen there are storage room, kitchen utensils (microwave, kettle, toaster, bar mixer) and stove. Only bakers and a coffee machine are missing because I don't drink coffee. In addition, the space in the refrigerator is limited, but we can arrange. However, if you have a larger one, please bring it with you. In addition, there is a washing machine in the bathroom that I just bought for Christmas.
We share the hall, kitchen and bathroom and you can of course use all the equipment of the two rooms. There is also a cellar room available to store things, and on the farm in front of the house there is the possibility to park a car. I don't expect you to necessarily have to contribute to the equipment of the WG to get involved here. I just ask you to deal with my stuff and not use a softener when washing. However, if you have a vacuum cleaner or can organize one, this would definitely be a plus point. This is because at the moment my previous roommate has taken along her comprehensiblely.
In the end, I just want to lose a few words about cleanliness and order in the WG. The apartment is certainly not perfectly polished and licked up to the rear corner. If you're looking, you'll find some dust and maybe even a few spider webs without effort. Nevertheless, in the shared part of the apartment a minimum of cleanliness is very important to me. Basically, the size of the WG is not much. In the kitchen, the person who makes something dirty has to clean this up himself. It does not always have to be rinsed immediately after cooking, but the kitchen should be usable for the other person at any time and be left neatly. In addition, the bathroom should be cleaned weekly - alternately from you and me. We have always connected this with the fact that kitchen and hallway are also wiped. This changing "Putzdienst" takes i.d.R. max. 2 hours and I think this can be achieved once every 2 weeks.
Now I hope that my description didn't scare you, but could awaken your interest in the room. I'm glad to hear from you. Feel free to imagine a bit so I can get a first impression of you. I know that ideas are quite annoying and you probably already have some behind you. But I would be interested in one of the following things: What song did you last hear nonstop on Repeat? Or, what's your comfort food if you're bad? Or: What does your perfect Saturday look like if you have no obligations?
Whatever, look for a question you want to answer. If everything works, we can get to know each other during the next few days. Until then.
