The location of the apartment in Stuttgart-Nord is quiet but not secluded. Officially located on the basement floor, practically on the ground floor of a 6-7-storey building and surrounded by identical houses, there are virtually no disturbances to rest. The Prague Cemetery is on the opposite side of the street.
If you leave the house away from the road, you will arrive via a gravel road within 90 seconds to the metro station Mittnachtstraße (U12) and almost as fast as to Milchhof (U12). You can also walk to the station Pragfriedhof (U5, U6, U7, U15) in 6-7 minutes via the (well illuminated and large) cemetery path.
Milaneo shopping centre is 10 minutes walk, with the U12 4 minutes.
A good baker is a minute from the WG, Lidl 8 minutes, Edeka 7 minutes, Norma 2 minutes.
At the Hbf you are with the U12 in 8 minutes, at the Charlottenplatz in 10.
Even if it becomes late in the evening and no more subways, you can walk within 25 minutes from the Schlossplatz to the WG.

Die Lage der Wohnung in Stuttgart-Nord ist ruhig, aber nicht abgeschieden. Offiziell im Kellergeschoss, praktisch im Erdgeschoss eines 6-7-stöckigen Gebäudes gelegen und umgeben von gleichhohen Häusern, gibt es quasi keine Ruhestörungen. Der Pragfriedhof ist auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite.
Verlässt man das Haus weg von der Straße, kommt man über einen Schotterweg innerhalb von 90 Sekunden zur U-Bahn-Station Mittnachtstraße (U12) und fast genauso schnell zu Milchhof (U12). Auch zur Station Pragfriedhof (U5, U6, U7, U15) kann man in 6-7 Minuten über den (gut ausgeleuchteten und großen) Friedhofsweg laufen.
Zum Einkaufszentrum Milaneo braucht man zu Fuß 10 Minuten, mit der U12 4 Minuten.
Ein guter Bäcker ist eine Minute von der WG entfernt, Lidl 8 Minuten, Edeka 7 Minuten, Norma 2 Minuten.
Am Hbf ist man mit der U12 in 8 Minuten, am Charlottenplatz in 10.
Auch wenn es abends mal später wird und keine U-Bahnen mehr fahren, kommt man zu Fuß innerhalb von 25 Minuten vom Schlossplatz zur WG.

Many of us are mainly at home in the evening and quite busy at the music college, but more often we cook/great and sit together in the evening simply outside or in the living room and talk. Often friends are invited for a games, switch, film, cooking or chat night and birthdays or other occasions are celebrated. Much is about music. The living room is well filled with musical instruments and is often also practiced in the WG or a little clashed around (for 4 years there have been virtually no complaints from the neighbors, but we practice only at human times and try to practice as much in the music college).
At the moment, the 4s-WG 2 lectureships with the subjects music, computer science and English as well as a freelance musician/conductor live.
Basically we speak German, but all have very good English skills and are ready to use them. :D

Important: In our WG, a trans-woman lives. We all strive for a WG atmosphere, characterized by openness, acceptance, consideration and loving handling, with the aim that everyone feels comfortable here. Please do not ask if you have problems in dealing with trans- or generally queer people or that does not correspond to your idea for your WG.

Viele von uns sind hauptsächlich abends zu Hause und recht beschäftigt an der Musikhochschule, aber häufiger kochen/grillen wir und sitzen abends einfach zusammen draußen oder im Wohnzimmer und reden. :) Oft werden Freunde für einen Spiele-, Switch-, Film-, Koch- oder Plauderabend eingeladen und Geburtstage oder sonstige Anlässe gefeiert. Viel dreht sich bei uns um Musik. Das Wohnzimmer ist gut gefüllt mit Musikinstrumenten und oft wird auch in der WG geübt oder ein wenig herumgeklimpert (seit 4 Jahren gab es quasi keine Beschwerden von den Nachbarn, wir üben aber natürlich nur zu humanen Zeiten und bemühen uns, so viel es geht in der Musikhochschule zu üben).
Momentan leben in der 4er-WG 2 Lehramt-Studis mit den Fächern Musik, Informatik und Englisch sowie eine freischaffende Musikerin/Dirigentin.
Grundsätzlich sprechen wir deutsch, haben aber alle sehr gute Englischkenntnisse und sind bereit, diese einzusetzen. :D

Wichtig: In unserer WG lebt unter anderem eine Trans-Frau. Wir bemühen uns alle um eine WG-Atmosphäre, die von Offenheit, Akzeptanz, Rücksichtnahme und liebevollem Umgang geprägt ist mit dem Ziel, dass sich hier alle wohl fühlen. Bitte macht keine Anfrage, wenn Ihr Probleme im Umgang mit Trans- bzw. allgemein queeren Menschen habt oder das nicht Eurer Vorstellung für Eure WG entspricht.
