Hey, maybe future roommate,
We are looking for someone to join our shared apartment from September because Hanna is moving out. At the moment, Matilde, Hanna and I (Maria) live in our shared apartment. Matilde will also move out in October and Paula will take her room. The room is 9 square meters and is bright. The apartment is 55 m2 and is on the first floor of an apartment building in which almost only students live. There is a basement room for each apartment and a washing machine in a large shared laundry room. We also have access to bicycle parking spaces and a terrace on the ground floor with pots for plants. It also has a complete bathroom. The kitchen is currently fully equipped, but perhaps Matilde and Hanna will take few things with them so we might need a couple of things afterwards, by the way, we also have a dishwasher ;)
The apartment is in Riedenberg (part of Sillenbuch) and it takes 20/25 minutes to get to the city center (by bike, on foot or by bus to the Schemppstrasse or Sillenbuch stop). There is a grocery store directly opposite our shared apartment, down the street there is a farm shop (3 minutes on foot) and up the street (7 minutes on foot) there is a dm, Edeka, Penny and more. In less than 5 minutes you are in Eichenhain (a nature reserve) and shortly after in the forest.
We will introduce a cleaning schedule for the common spaces. Paula and I are definitely motivated to use the shared flat community and enjoy it by cooking together, playing games, grilling on the terrace in summer, taking a walk in the oak grove at sunset, and so on. We have ideas, but with all of this it is important that everyone can contribute as much as they want and in whatever they want, but of course it's not mandatory. We are open and interested in what ideas you can bring.
Paula is 23 years old and is moving to Stuttgart to start her masters in molecular nutrition at the university of Hohenheim. She loves cooking and baking, being outsinde and doing sports, traveling, bouldering and doing all kinds of fun activities, alone or if possible in company. She likes to live in harmony in the flat and is almost always down for a chat in the kitchen.
I'm just starting my PhD in Biology so I'm settling down in Stuttgart. I'm looking forward to create my rutine here, meet new people and discover the city. I used to swim, hike, do yoga and pottery in my free time back in Barcelona. I love to meet with friends and play board games, go for a walk or a beer or just chat.
IMPORTANT: English is spoken in the shared flat.
We are excited to hear from you ;)
