The location is really very cool. You can walk in a few minutes at Marienplatz, i.e. the subways, the Tübinger Strasse, as well as many bars can be reached directly from your future home. If you know in Stuttgart, the following lines will not be so interesting, but for the new muttgarter it is important to know that the Marienplatz is a hub of many young people, there are many shops (food, drugstore, pharmacies, etc.). Despite the proximity to the city, the house and the WG are located in a rather quieter road, so you also have its tranquility ðŸTM‚ For a bit of a view you can walk to the Charles Height in 10 minutes, also in the green one is super fast from here.

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr sehr cool. Man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten am Marienplatz, d.h. die U-Bahnen, die Tübinger Strasse, wie auch viele Bars sind direkt von deinem zukünftigen Zuhause aus erreichbar. Wenn du dich in Stuttgart auskennst, werden die folgenden Zeilen eher nicht so interessant sein, aber für die Neu-Stuttgarter ist es wichtig zu wissen, dass der Marienplatz ein Knotenpunkt vieler junger Menschen ist, man hier viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lebensmittel, Drogerie, Apotheken, etc.). Trotz der Nähe zur Stadt, befindet sich das Haus und die WG in einer eher ruhigeren Strasse, so dass man auch seine Ruhe hat 🙂 Für ein bisschen Ausblick läuft man in 10 Minuten auf die Karlshöhe, auch im Grünen ist man von hier aus super schnell.

We are Lisa (29) and Mira (28).
Lisa works at the university and holds a doctorate in simulation of stone impact protection networks. In her spare time she likes to climb, walk and ski (okay, which is only in winter), but she also sits relaxed on the sofa and reads a book or continues to knit on her scarf/sock/Pulli. Over the last year she has discovered Bachata and West Coast Swing for herself. Mira has been working as a software developer in the medical technology industry since her mechatronic studies. Otherwise, she plays trombone in a big band, likes to disperse new sports, builds off and to her furniture herself and loves games of any kind.

We are very happy about a WG life with occasional joint actions, or even spontaneous evening bees or breakfast coffee on the loggia. On our loggia one forgets that one is in the middle of the city; there cannot be enough plants;) In the meantime, it has established that we regularly go bouldering together or organize games evenings. From time to time, we also look spontaneously out of the window to see if the Italian next door is free to enjoy the best pizza in the city. Generally, our WG life is wonderfully uncomplicated and if you want to get back, that is absolutely no problem.

The community in the house is great. We are here one of two WGs, in the rest of the house lives a family and couples. One always likes to help each other and understands well, even at our WG party there were no objections or noise complaints from neighbors ;)

Wir sind Lisa (29) und Mira (28).
Lisa arbeitet an der Uni und promoviert über Simulation von Steinschlagschutznetzen. In ihrer Freizeit geht sie gerne klettern, laufen und skifahren (okay, das nur im Winter), liegt aber auch mal entspannt auf dem Sofa und liest ein Buch oder strickt an ihrem Schal/Socken/Pulli weiter. Im Laufe des letzten Jahres hat sie Bachata und West Coast Swing für sich entdeckt. Mira arbeitet seit ihrem Mechatronikstudium als Softwareentwicklerin in der Medizintechnikbranche. Ansonsten spielt sie Posaune in einer Bigband, porbiert gerne neue Sportarten aus, baut ab und zu ihre Möbel selbst und liebt Spiele jeder Art.

Wir freuen uns sehr über ein WG Leben mit gelegentlichen gemeinsamen Aktionen, oder auch spontanen Feierabendbierchen oder Frühstückskaffees auf der Loggia. Auf unserer Loggia vergisst man, dass man mitten in der Stadt ist; es kann nicht genug Pflanzen geben ;) Mittlerweile hat es sich etabliert, dass wir regelmäßig zusammen bouldern gehen oder mal Spieleabende veranstalten. Ab und zu schauen wir auch mal spontan aus dem Fenster um zu schauen ob beim Italiener nebenan ein Plätzchen frei ist, um die beste Pizza der Stadt zu genießen. Generell ist unser WG Leben wunderbar unkompliziert und wenn man sich mal zurück ziehen will, ist das absolut kein Problem.

Die Gemeinschaft im Haus ist super. Wir sind hier eine von zwei WGs, im restlichen Haus wohnt eine Familie und Paare. Man hilft sich gegenseitig immer gerne aus und versteht sich gut, auch bei unserer WG Party gab es keinerlei Einwände oder Geräuschbeschwerden der Nachbarn ;)

Your room is ready for you from mid-April. When renting 469€ everything is in, from July onwards it can be that the NK will change by a few euros, because we will then find new providers:)

Dein Zimmer ist ab Mitte April für dich bereit. Bei der Miete von 469€ ist alles drin, ab Juli kann es sein, dass sich die NK um ein paar Euro ändern, weil wir uns dann neue Anbieter suchen :)
