The room is about 17 square meters and is located on the north side of the building overlooking a courtyard. In the summer it remains pleasantly cool here, which is a real advantage compared to the other rooms. The room is completely furnished.
If necessary, smaller items can be accommodated in the basement. The room is equipped with a 140x200 cm bed, a wooden desk, an office chair, a rolling container, a sofa, four municipalities and a TV on request. Under the bed there is sufficient storage space for boxes or other things.
We have a generous kitchen and two bathrooms. The kitchen is the heart of our WG and the place where our entire WG life plays. Here is laughed, sung and sometimes also loudly discussed.
There are two bathrooms in the apartment: a large bathroom for three inhabitants: inside and a small bathroom for two inhabitants: inside. In the last and a half years we have upgraded our WG somewhat. About a year ago we bought a dishwasher, a new kitchen table and some shelves for the kitchen.
Note: The room is available from 1 March to 18 March available. The rental price of 270 Euro applies only to these 18 days and is calculated for the duration of the rental period. An extension of the lease is unfortunately not possible.
Our WG is located directly opposite the Schwabengalerie in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Around us you will find everything you need to live: various supermarkets, pharmacies, snacks, drugstore markets etc.
The entire house consists mostly of 4-5 WGs and is rented privately. Our landlord is simply top, always accessible when something should be.
The nearest stops for metro and bus are not 5 minutes from our front door. To the S-Bahn (Vaihingen Train Station) you need about 10 minutes on foot. You can walk through the park and are at the train station.
Hey looking out there,
as I go abroad for a month, an approximately 17 m2 room in Stuttgart-Vaihingen is released from the beginning until mid-March 2025. We're looking for someone to take over the room for this period. It would be great if you fit well with our colorful WG and feel comfortable in our community life.
Your roommates are Nina, Chris, Bastian and Paul.
About a year and a half ago, the WG was re-established with the aim of not being a pure purpose WG, but a living and humorous community that wants to spend a good time together during their studies.
Nina (24) studies in the Master Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart. In her spare time she enjoys sailing and skiing in winter.
Chris (27) studies medical technology at the University of Stuttgart and is currently working on his master thesis. He is our Bavarian representative in the WG, and sometimes we even have to translate things he doesn't understand in the Swabian. 🤣
Basti (26) currently holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering. In his spare time he is active athletic – be it in the gym or jogging. He is also enthusiastic about the heights and depths of FC Bayern Munich. With pride he represents the small but fine Saarland in our WG. 😊
Paul (23), our chick, studies mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and is currently working on his master thesis. Originally it comes from the rural region around Aalen and likes to swarm nature, excavators and motor saws. 😅
We are a lively WG that likes to cook together and relax in the kitchen with a beer or wine in the evening. Visitors are always welcome! In addition, we are all sporty. Some of us go together jogging, swimming or tasting in other sports. In summer we are often found in the outdoor pool around the corner.
So if you think you're good for us, register with us and introduce yourself in a few words. We look forward to meeting you.
The 5-WG
Laura, Chris, Bastian, Paul and Kili
P.S.: If you have read our message completely, you will be able to answer the following question: Who in our WG may have a Bavarian dialect?
