Hello dear imaginary WG of the future,

My name is Martin, I am 48 years old, I am always in a good mood in Saarland and I have been living in Stuttgart since the late 1990s. I am looking for a WG because I simply want to share my daily life with other people. I like it when you can talk a little while cooking or dinner, as well as breakfast on Sunday morning. But everything shall go without force, as it will come. When a caffeine is drunk, grilled, a movie is seen or celebrated - cool, I'm in. If it's a little quieter, that's all right. Your age doesn't matter to me.

We can start on March 1st! A temporary room is also OK.

I am non-smoking, but not without a truck (the wine...). I have no pets, no car, but a mountain bike. I also have running shoes, and there is no route in the woods around Stuttgart that I do not know. Your WG would move in with me a HiFi- system. My favorite LPs: cello concert by Dvorak, Air / Premiers Symptoms and Max Herre / Max Herre. Oh, yes, and of course the Christmas double LP of Heino with unfolding nativity. My current reading favorite: Harry Potter, read for my 11-year-old daughter, who visits me every week. Don't be afraid - she's a great girl! I also travel, but less by plane around the world, but rather by camping in France (compare Saarland, wine) or by train through the country. I would like to take a look at the world of Martin Behaim in Nuremberg, which is 500 years old!

And my job? Well, it's completely original for a Stuttgart: engineer at the special machine construction of Bosch in Feuerbach. But it's in a mood, because I'm building fancy laser machines. Pew, pew! In any case, this is based on a regulated weekly rhythm.

How a WG works, you certainly don't have to explain to me, because I lived 6 years in a 6-WG and then again 5 years in a 3-WG, and I have the closest friends from these WGs to this day. Both WGs were proper households, run by real professionals - I will not let anything burn in the future and do what is to be done with joy and the appropriate course of course.

And now, I wish you wouldn't stay imaginary and invite me to the show at your WG table.

Hallo liebe imaginäre WG der Zukunft,

ich heiße Martin, bin 48 Jahre alt, stets gut gelaunter Saarländer und lebe seit Ende der 90er in Stuttgart. Eine WG suche ich, weil ich ganz einfach meinen Alltag mit andern Menschen teilen möchte. Ich finde es schön, wenn man beim Kochen oder Abendessen ein wenig reden kann, genauso beim Frühstück am Sonntagmorgen. Alles soll aber ohne Zwang laufen, wie's kommt eben. Wenn ein Kafffe getrunken, gegrillt, ein Film geschaut oder mal gefeiert wird - cool, ich bin dabei. Wenn's mal ruhiger zugeht - auch gut. Euer Alter spielt dabei für mich gar keine Rolle.

Am 01. März kann es losgehen! Auch ein befristetes Zimmer ist erst einmal OK.

Ich bin Nichtraucher, aber nicht ohne Laster (der Wein...). Haustiere habe ich keine, ein Auto auch nicht, dafür aber ein Mountainbike. Laufschuhe habe ich auch, und es gibt keine Strecke in den Wäldern um Stuttgart, die ich nicht kenne. In eure WG würde mit mir eine HiFi-Anlage einziehen. Meine Lieblings-LPs: Cello-Konzert von Dvorak, Air/Premiers Symptomes und Max Herre/Max Herre. Ach ja, und natürlich die Weihnachts-Doppel-LP von Heino mit aufklappbarer Krippe. Mein aktueller Lese-Favorit: Harry Potter, vorgelesen für meine 11-jährige Tochter, die besucht mich jede Woche. Erschreckt jetzt bloß nicht - sie ist ein großartiges Mädchen! Reisen tue ich auch, aber weniger mit dem Flugzeug um die Welt, sondern eher zum Camping nach Frankreich (vergleiche Saarland, Wein) oder mit dem Zug durch die Lande. Demnächst möchte ich mir mal den Globus von Martin Behaim in Nürnberg anschauen, der ist 500 Jahre alt!

Und mein Beruf? Nun, der ist total originell für einen Stuttgarter: Ingenieur beim Sondermaschinenbau von Bosch in Feuerbach. Macht aber Laune, denn ich baue fancy Lasermaschinen. Pew, pew! Auf jeden Fall läuft das auf einen geregelten Wochenrhythmus hinaus.

Wie eine WG funktioniert, müsst ihr mir bestimmt nicht erklären, denn ich habe 6 Jahre in einer 6er-WG und dann nochmal 5 Jahre in einer 3er-WG gewohnt, und aus diesen WGs habe ich bis heute die engsten Freunde. Beide WGs waren ordentliche, von echten Profis geführte Haushalte - da werde ich auch künftig nichts anbrennen lassen und mit Freude und der angemessenen Selbstverständlichkeit das tun, was zu tun ist.

Und nun? Wünsche ich mir, dass ihr nicht imaginär bleibt und mich zur Vorstellung an euren WG-Tisch einladet.
