Hey, you,
I rent my room in our 3rd WG in Untertürkheim.
Here are some information about the room and our WG life :)
The room is 25m2 and is located on the raised ground floor. The windows are high enough so nobody can look in. Besides, there are roller shutters that you can close.
During the day enough daylight comes into the room.
The furniture would all stay in the room and also a few plants if you were a plant friend. 🌱 In the rent, the additional costs are already calculated :)
We have a separate toilet and a bathroom with bathtub/shower and sink.
Our kitchen is equipped with everything you need, also a dishwasher. And the kitchen table is big enough to cook together, to play...
In the basement we also have a laundry room with washing machine and clothes dryers. Very practical, because you don't have to hang the laundry in the room.
We also have a small cellar room where you could park your bike.
If you need a parking space for a car, you can apply for a local ID.
Our WG is located in Untertürkheim, 4 minutes from the underground (U13) and 10 minutes from the S-Bahn+U-Bahn (S1/U4). You only need 10 minutes to get to the Hbf. And everything in the city centre can be reached in 20 minutes.
Right around the corner is also the grave chapel. There you can walk super in the vineyards and watch the sunset :)
Shopping can be done either at the Cap (approx. 10 min walkway) or at the Kaufland (15 minutes). Otherwise you can also press the train to Wangen (Rewe, Aldi).
The residential area is generally rather quiet and also living in our house more elderly people.
Party is not allowed. Shared relaxed evenings with some friends of course already:)
Now a small impression in our WG:)
I (Ida), rent my room as I go to Erasmus. I am currently studying architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart in the 5th semester.
You would live with Annika (20) and Franzi (20). We've been living together for about 3 months.
Annika makes a training in fashion design and Franzi a physiotherapist. Therefore, under the week everyone is always on the move at different times. Mostly we talk in the kitchen in the evening:) Exchange us about everything possible...
We are generally a relaxed WG. If someone wants to do something together, we ask spontaneously. If someone needs his rest, all take care.
You can always be creative. At the moment, for example, several self-painted images hang into our WG, but they are still from previous roommates :)
Still cleaning, etc.
With ours there is always a general "basic cleanliness" and a cleaning plan.
The rental time for the room is somewhat variable, as I don't know when to get back.
So if you want to stay longer, it would be possible if you had agreed.
