The room is around 12 sqm big, right next to the living room and across from the washroom. A large window opening into the garden. Curtains and shutters are pre installed.
This 3 room apartment also has a big kitchen with a built-in kitchen, a large living room with a big balcony attached and a washroom with a window.
Living below the apartment is the daughter of the landlord and her child of about 8 years old, we have a friendly relationship with each other and help each other out if needed.
A little northwest of Munich right in the middle of fields and forests, situated on top of a small hill above the S-Bahn station St. Koloman lies Hofsingelding. Within cycling distance (or walking if you are up for it), we have access to a beautiful swimming lake for those interested.
With the S-Bahn being within 10 min leisure walking distance, we have easy access to Munich and also Erding which would be the closest city.
With nice weather, and some luck, you can see the Mountains while walking around and/or to the train. This also means that hiking possibilities are not that far away, most being around 1hr to 1,5hrs away (by car).
I am a Norwegian dude in the middle of his 20's, working as a service point technician at decathlon mostly repairing bicycles. I am a outdoorsy person loving the mountains and forests so living in the country side here is not a problem for me. That being said I am also an avid gamer who also likes to stay in and play games or watch movies.
I am fluent in English, German and Norwegian and know some words in Italian.
Do not worry, even in my mid 20's, I am not the biggest fan of partying, though I do enjoy the occasional cocktail or beer.
Currently I don't have a motorized vehicle, but most things are easily accessible by bike anyways so it is not necessary in my opinion. (Only being a letdown when I want to buy a week's worth of groceries)
I am open to cooking together and maybe watching a movie or gaming (board or online).
The monthly rent is 450€ per person, excluding: electricity, internet and GEZ. Adding it all up we reach around 500€ a month per person. In 2020 the house was completely renovated, though the insulation is still not the best. Due to this there is a risk of mold, so regular ventilation and enough heating are a must. Also due to the insulation and gas heating the chance of additional payment of the utility-bill is high, I would recommend to plan 550€ a month in costs to stay on the safe side.
The 1650€ are for the built-in kitchen and sofa. 1300€ are for the kitchen, of which you would pay 650€. This was built 2 years ago for around 1800€ with a big fridge with a freezer and a dishwasher. 200€ for the sofa, of which you pay 100€. 150€ in total, 75€ for you, for the washing machine, which still has 5 years of warranty.
