Die Wohnung ist eine vollständig möblierte 3-Raum Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Sie verfügt über ein großes Wohnzimmer mit offenem Küchen- und Essbereich, inklusive großem Esstisch, einem Ecksofa und einem großen Fernseher - perfekt für gemeinsame WG Abende oder Zeit mit Gästen.
Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, inklusive eines Geschirrspülers. Auch eine eigene Waschmaschine ist in der Wohnung vorhanden. Bei Bedarf sind Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden, so dass diese (vor Allem für Studierende von außerhalb Ungarns) nicht mitgebracht werden müssten.
Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind identisch ausgestattet. Es handelt sich um voll möblierte WG Zimmer, mit Schrank, Regal, Schreibtisch + Stuhl, einem Doppelbett und weiteren kleinen Möbeln (z.B. Nachtschrank). Wie in Budapester Altbauten typisch verfügt die Wohnung über sehr hohe Decken (~4m), so dass die Zimmerfläche über eine Galerie, auf welcher sich das Bett befindet, vergrößert wurde. Hierdruch wurde nicht nur die Zimmerfläche vergrößert, es entstehen auch seperate Schlaf- und Wohnbereiche innerhalb eines Zimmers. Durch das große Fenster und das schöne Parkett fühlt sich das Zimmer hell, warm und wohnlich an.
Durch das vorhandene Doppelbett ist es möglich, dass Zimmer auch zu zweit (beispielsweise als Paar) zu nutzen.
Die Wohnung befindet sich einen sanierten Altbau in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße des 7. Bezirks in Budapest. Das Haus ist im typsich ungarischen Baustil um einen offenen Innenhof herum gebaut und bietet so direkt einen Eindruck vom Charme der ungarischen Architektur.
The appartement is a fully furnished 3 room appartement with 2 bedrooms. It includes a big living room with an open kitchen and eating area, which is furnished with a big dining table, a big corner couch and a flat screen TV – ideal for evening shared with flatmates or guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped, which includes a dishwasher. A washing machine is also available inside the appartement. The flat comes with bed sheets and towels, which can be used. This means that no bedding or towels need to be brought, which could be especially convenient for students from countries other than Hungary.
The appartement contains to identical bedrooms. Both are fully furnished bedrooms, furnished with a closet, shelf, desk with desk chair, double bed as well as further smaller pieces of furniture (i.e. nightstand). The ceilings in the appartement are very high (~4m), as is common for old buildings in Budapest. For that reason the living space of the room was extended by building a Gallery on which the bed stands. This does not only increase the available space, it effectively creates separate sleeping and living areas within the same room. The big window and beautiful wooden floor create a light, warm, cozy atmosphere.
As the bed is a double, the room could be used by two people (I.e a couple).
The appartement is in a renovated old building in a quite side street of the 7th district of Budapest. In a building style which is common for Hungary, the building is build around an open court yard and with this offers a great impression the charm of Hungarian architecture.

Der 7. Bezirk in Budapest (Erzsébetváros) ist einer der lebendigsten und spannensten Bezirke Budapests. Nicht nur finden sich in diesem Bezirk jede Menge Restaurants, Kneipen und Clubs, gleichzeitig hat es als historisch jüdischer Teil der Stadt auch historisch und architektonisch viel zu bieten.
Die Wohnung selber befindet sich in einem etwas ruhigeren Teil des 7. Bezirks, die perfekte Mischung aus ruhiger Wohnlage bei gleichzeitig hervorragender Anbindung.
In unmittelbarer Umgebung der Wohnung befinden sich diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Nicht nur der Ostbahnhof (Keleti pályaudvar, 5 Minuten zu Fuß) mit seinen Nah- und Fernzügen, auch diverse Bus-, Trolli- und Metrohaltestellen sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Mehrere Universitäten bzw deren Fakultätsgebäude (z.B. die Veterinärmedizinische Universität Budapest oder die Psychologische Fakultät der Universität ELTE) sind ebenfalls zu Fuß in weniger als 15 Minuten erreichbar.
The appartement has a perfect location!
The 7th district of Budapest (Erzsébetváros) is one of the most lively and exciting areas of the city. This district doesn’t just offer many restaurants, bars and clubs, it is also home to the old jewish quater of Budapest with all its historical and architectural appeals.
The appartement itself is located in the quieter part of the 7th district – a perfect mixture of quite living area and great accessibility.
The immediate surrounding area offers access to many (grocery) stores, public transportation is easily accessible. Both the East Trainstation (Keleti pályaudvár, 5 min on foot) with its domestic and international trains, as well as bus-, trolli- and subway stops are reachable within 5 minutes or less on foot.
Multiple universities or their faculty buildings can also easily be reached with walking less then 15 minutes (i.e. the Veterinary University of Budapest or the Psychological Faculty of ELTE University).
Die Vermieter*innen sprechen fließend Deutsch, Ungarisch und Englisch. Eine Kontaktaufnahme in einer der Sprachen ist bevorzugt.
Der Mietvertrag kann ebenfalls in den oben genannten Sprachen ausgestellt werden.
Die Miete kann ohne notwendige Konversions- und Überweisungskosten direkt in Euro auf ein deutsche Bankkonto überwiesen werden. Bei Absprache ist auch eine Überweisung in Forint auf ein ungarisches Konto möglich.
Die 400,00€ Mietkosten enthalten bereits alle Nebenkosten, inklusive Kosten für den DSL Internetzugang. Einzig die Stromkosten müssen durch die Mieter*innen zusätzlich übernommen werden. Dies können jedoch dank eines modernen Schaltuhrsystems selbstbestimmt gezahlt werden und richten sich ausschließlich nach dem eigenen Verbrauch. Es werden keine Abschläge fällig, die Mieter*innen zahlen nur genau das, was sie auch verbrauchen.
Die Vermieter*innen selber wohnen nicht in der Gegend, eine Ansprechperson für Notfälle ist jedoch vor Ort verfügbar.
The owners of the flat speak German, English and Hungarian fluently. Communication in on of those languages would be preferred.
The rental contact can be written up in those three languages as well.
Rental payments can be wired directly in Euro to a German bank account, without any conversion or wiring fees. A payment in Forint to a Hungarian bank account is possible, upon agreement.
The rental price of 400,00€ includes utilities as well as the costs of the DSL internet connection. Solely the electricty fees will have to be payed separately by the tenants. These will be payed through a modern relay timer and are solely dependent on the actual electricity consumption. No advanced payments are necessary, the tenants pay for their electricity consumption as is fit.
The owners themselves do not live in the area, a contact person for emergencies is available however.
