Looking for a flatshare in aachen (March-August)

Hallo,

mein Name ist Song Yunjeong, ich bin 22 Jahre alt und komme aus Südkorea. Ich studiere Chemieingenieurwesen in Südkorea und bin im Sommersemester 2025 als Austauschstudentin an der RWTH Aachen. In Aachen werde ich Chemie studieren.

Ursprünglich hatte ich auf einen Wohnheimplatz (Stw, Quota Room etc.) gewartet, aber leider habe ich keinen erhalten. Daher bin ich dringend auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft – und eure WG wirkt wie eine sehr freundliche und angenehme Wohnmöglichkeit, in der ich mich wohlfühlen könnte!

Ich bin bereits in Aachen angekommen und würde das Zimmer gerne so bald wie möglich besichtigen. Falls alles passt, würde ich auch so schnell wie möglich einziehen wollen.

Ich habe viel Erfahrung mit dem WG-Leben, da ich in Korea drei Jahre lang im Wohnheim gelebt habe. Daher bin ich es gewohnt, mit Mitbewohner*innen zu leben und auf gemeinsame Räume zu achten. Ich übernehme gerne Verantwortung für Reinigung, Kochen und die gemeinsamen Bereiche und passe mich gerne den Regeln der WG an. Ich bin Nichtraucherin und koche sehr gerne – ich würde euch auch gerne einige koreanische Gerichte zubereiten! 🍲

Vom Charakter her bin ich gesellig und aufgeschlossen. Ich verbringe gerne Zeit mit meinen Mitbewohner*innen – sei es beim Kochen, Reden oder gemeinsamen Aktivitäten. Gleichzeitig respektiere ich aber auch den persönlichen Raum und die Zeit anderer. In meiner Freizeit treibe ich gerne Sport wie Tennis und Schwimmen, und ich bin generell eine aktive und soziale Person. Außerdem probiere ich gerne neue Dinge aus, daher wäre es schön, in der WG auch neue Erfahrungen zu sammeln!

Ich spreche zwar kein Deutsch, aber ich kann mich gut auf Englisch verständigen. Ich bin aktuell in Aachen und könnte das Zimmer kurzfristig besichtigen. Wäre das möglich?

I had originally been waiting for a dormitory placement (Stw, Quota Room, etc.), but unfortunately, I did not receive one. That’s why I am urgently looking for a place to live – and your WG seems like a very friendly and welcoming environment where I could feel at home!

I have already arrived in Aachen and would love to visit the room as soon as possible. If everything works out, I would also like to move in as soon as I can.

I have extensive experience with shared living, as I lived in a dormitory for three years in Korea. I am very used to living with roommates and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. I take responsibility for cleaning, cooking, and maintaining common areas, and I am happy to adapt to the WG’s rules. I am a non-smoker and love cooking – I’d be happy to prepare some Korean dishes for you! 🍲

In terms of personality, I am sociable and easygoing. I like spending time with my roommates, whether it’s cooking together, chatting, or engaging in various activities. At the same time, I respect personal space and alone time. In my free time, I enjoy sports like tennis and swimming, and I generally like being active and social. I also love trying out new things, so I would be excited to explore new experiences in the WG as well!

I don’t speak German, but I can communicate well in English. I am currently in Aachen and could visit the room on short notice. Would that be possible?
