The room is ONLY available to rent for one calendar month. The offer is aimed at people (students are preferred) who want to stay in Berlin for a month or who want to find calmly a long-term place to stay in the city. I ask for your understanding if I do not requests with other purposes or you do not meet the REQUIREMENTS MENTIONED BELOW. Similarly, requests that are ANONYMOUS or do not INCLUDE A PHOTO or PERSONAL DETAILS.

Unfortunately, official registration is NOT possible

No luxury but cosy and friendly flat. Informal and relaxed atmosphere. Not suitable for high demands and fans of clinical house cleaning. Optimal transport connections. 300 m from the ZOB (central bus station). 200 m from the underground and the city railway.

The building is located in a beautiful, quiet and historic residential area. Opposite there is a wonderful large park with a lake.

The flat has three rooms. I live in one of them; the other two are for female guests or for my daughters.

The flat serves as a family home, my youngest daughter stays there three times a week and my grandchildren visit me occasionally. Unfortunately, due to a requirement of my daughters, I CAN NOT ACCOMMODATE MEN in the flat. Male friends are also not allowed to stay overnight. Visiting men during the day is acceptable, but please no casual relationships. No restrictions for women, neither for visits nor for short overnight stays. For example, infants, female family members or friends, no couple dynamic however.

The room is approx. 15 sqm large. It has a löft bed (3.00x2.30), a desk, a table chair, , a couch, a wardrobe and a cupboard. No TV.
Electricity, heating and hot/cold water costs are included in the rent. For cost and environmental reasons, the washing machine can only be used once a week.
Bathroom and kitchen are shared. There are windows in the bathroom and kitchen.

You are not allowed to smoke in the room, but you can smoke in the flat (in the kitchen and in my room). I am a smoker.

No deposit is required, but any damage caused to the flat will be refunded. In case of loss of the keys € 80,00 are to be paid. IMPORTANT: A binding reservation of the room will only take place after paying the advance payment of € 50,00. The room is available to rent for one month only. For a longer tenancy, the total rent must be paid in advance.

If you are not in Berlin, the proof of a bank transfer applies, even from abroad. This amount will be deducted from the monthly rent to be paid when moving in.

The future flatmate should be open-minded, talkative and socially acceptable and, if possible, want to participate in the social life of the flat. Not suitable for people who barricade themselves in the room and only go out to use the bathroom or the kitchen.

Personally, I am a very sociable person who enjoys cultivated conversation over wine or coffee and likes to hear stories about people and countries. I place a lot of value on humour, I think there is insight in every smile. I would also be delighted if we could share a meal together or with other guests from time to time.
