Hi, great that you came to my ad.
I am staying in South Africa this winter from 01.02. until 01.03. and want to rent out my room during this time.
The room is very bright, since it has two large windows and its facing east. Its also quiet and I usually cannot hear my neighbors when I'm home.
The room has a standing desk, a good monitor for working, a TV, a couch and a very nice and comfy bed, (1,60x2,00m).
There is two blankets and two comfy pillow, if you don't want to bring your own.
The desk is great for doing remote work and the monitor is very sharp so its perfect for working.
The closet/wardrobe is rather spacious and I will clear most of it out while I'm gone so you are free to use it.
There is lots of books which you are free to use and a yoga mat which you may also use, if you treat it well.
That about it when it comes to my room I think.
Our flat is located in a really beautiful, historic and quiet neighborhood that is just outside the Ring close to Ostkreuz.
I really love our Kiez and live here for around five years now. There are a few nice restaurants and the supermarkets are close by (5 min by foot), also there is a späti & bakery just across the street and a good organic food store close by in our Kiez.
Our area is a bit off the usual tourist trek, so its a bit more quiet, which I really like to calm down from the busy life of Berlin. There is also one of my favorite areas of Berlin just around the corner: Rummelsbucht is a lake which is amazing for a nice walk or for jogging.
When it comes to public transit the S 5/7/3 are just 5 minutes by foot and make it easy to get to the city center. The Ring bahn is 10 minutes by foot (or 2-3 minutes by bike) at Ostkreuz and this makes it easy to get to Prenzlberg or Neukölln in 20 minutes.
We are two people the flat, Pierre and Me. Pierre and me are both in our early thierties and good friends.
Besides that we try to keep our apartment clean and enjoyable. We often cook at home, but its also self explanatory that the kitchen should be clean afterwards.
Our neighbors never complained about noise and usually you can't hear them as well. We have friend over from time to time, but since everybody is in a working age now, we rarely do things during the weeks past 12 in our place.
Besides that we are very easy going and laugh a lot.
