Das möblierte Zimmer ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es hat ein Bett mit einer 160x200 Matratze, 2 Kissen, einen Kleiderschrank, einen Schreibtisch, Bürostuhl und einen Fernseher. Die Gegenstände wurden vom Vermieter gestellt und müssen beim Auszug im Zimmer gelassen werden. Die Küche und das Bad ist auch vollends vom Vermieter ausgestattet worden. Es gibt eine Spülmaschine, Besteck, Teller, weitere Küchenutensilien, eine Waschmaschine, ein Duschbad und eine Dusche (mittlerweile auch mit Vorhang ;)).
Alles in allem kostet das Wg-Zimmer 875€ + die einmalige Kaution von 1.000€. In der Miete ist das Wg-Zimmer, Internet und sonstige Nebenkosten enthalten.
Der Mietvertrag wird immer auf ein Jahr befristet und dann um ein weiteres Jahr verlängert.

The furnished room is equipped with everything you need. It has a bed with a 160x200 mattress, 2 pillows, a wardrobe, a desk, an office chair and a television. The items were provided by the landlord and must be left in the room when you move out. The kitchen and bathroom have also been fully equipped by the landlord. There is a dishwasher, cutlery, plates, other kitchen utensils, a washing machine, a shower room and a shower (now with a curtain ;)).
All in all, the shared room costs €875 + the one-off deposit of €1,000. The rent includes the shared room, internet and other additional costs.
The rental contract is always limited to one year and then extended for another year.

Man lebt mitten auf der Sonnenallee und braucht zum nächsten Bus nur 2 Minuten. Zur S-Bahn Sonnenallee ca. 15 min zu Fuß. Supermärkte, Spätis etc. sind alle fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Lage ist also sehr zentral und praktisch.

You live in the middle of Sonnenallee and it only takes 2 minutes to get to the next bus. It's about 15 minutes' walk to the Sonnenallee S-Bahn station. Supermarkets, Spätis, etc. are all within walking distance. The location is therefore very central and practical.
Das WG-Leben ist sehr entspannt. Patrick (Paddy) ist in Australien groß geworden und arbeitet im Marketing. Melike ist 21 Jahre alt und hat ein Architektur-Studium angefangen. Melike ist in der Türkei aufgewachsen und und kann verschiedene Sprachen sprechen (darunter Russisch, Türkisch, Deutsch & Englisch). Man lässt sich seinen Freiraum und quatscht ab und an in der Küche.

Life in our shared flat is very relaxed. Patrick (Paddy) grew up in Australia and works in marketing. Melike is 21 years old and has started studying architecture. Melike grew up in Turkey and can speak various languages (including Russian, Turkish, German and English). They give each other their space and chat in the kitchen from time to time.
