1-room with balcony in spacious, bright modern apartment near Schöneweide S-Bahn /tram station. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove/oven, fridge/freezer, floor heating. Bathroom has bathtub. Great Wifi. 2nd floor with elevator. No parties!

Floor - The second floor and there is an elevator!
The total size of the apartment is 86 sqm.
There are 2 bedrooms (each about 14-18sqm) and a large (40sqm+) living room with a fitted kitchen, 1 bathroom, a storage room, a large balcony (10sqm) and I have bought pretty much everything you need to be a decent cook. Apart from that, the apartment is minimally furnished (less is better ;)) so we get a lot of space to breathe.
The room is furnished with a wardrobe. There is currently a large bed that is about 160x200cm, and a storage unit. The apartment is very sound-proof so you won't get any noise from the neighborhood or even from your flatmate (yes, sometimes it's a bit hard to find out who's still in the flat because it can be so quiet)
The room has a balcony and gets a lot of bright light in the summers and stays pretty lit even in the winter. The apartment overall stays very bright because of the huge ceiling-to-floor glass door/window.. The sitting room has a balcony with a resting chair for chilling on sunny days ;)
The accomodation is about 5 mins walk to the S-bahn station and about 10 mins walk to the Tram. The Spree and a playground with a football court is about 5mins walk.
There are lots of restaurant options and everything is 10-12 minutes away. Supermarkets, doctors .. everything is in the area.
It's NOT a zweck-WG.
I will be your future flatmate and I'm a PhD student in my final year. This means I mostly work or travel. I've been in Berlin since 2018. I do not smoke and smoking will not be allowed in the flat.
I sparingly have friends come over mainly because of my busy work schedule. However, you are free to have friends over as long as they are not loud. The place is always sparkling clean and I would like to have a flatmate that can keep it that way.
There is a projector /beamer to watch TV/movies/Netflix etc! For vacuuming/mopping, there is a sweeping robot which does a pretty amazing job, However, we have to alternate in mopping the common areas.
We want to have empathy, good friendship, and a good sense of trust and communication, which we will hopefully build over time! The only requirement is, to be honest, and transparent with communication and take care of cleaning together (this is quite important).
