The furnished room is big and bright. The flat situation is a bit different, since it’s separated from the main flat with the living room, kitchen and main bathroom, which is right next (flat) door. :)
The rest of the flat (where the room is) is still not completely done yet as you can see on the pictures, but is in progress. There is a functioning WC and a sporadic kitchen with sink.
Our house is located in a very green and calm area of Pankow. There are plenty of grocery stores in walking distance (Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, Rewe, Denn’s Biomarkt, Norma, Netto...) and a lot of parks around (Schlosspark, Brose Park, Botanischer Garten). Depending on the best connection you will take 4 minutes to the bus/ tram station, but I would recommend to take the bike through the Schlosspark to S&U Pankow (8minutes and very beautiful way).
A few lakes, the botanic garden of east Berlin and Berta Bloc (bouldering) are close as well.
Please just write, if the location is really ok for you. ;)
We are a chilled flatshare with mutual respect for privacy, but we also hang out and share dinner and have some beers/wine together occasionally ...also with the other people from the other flatshares in the house. Since summer is not far we‘ll start spending time in the garden again (barbecue, building, planting,..).
You should be clean and respectful towards the flat/house and our stuff, but not pedantic and you should be interested in not just a place to sleep, but to feel home!
The rent includes also electricity and internet, but not the radio and TV tax (GEZ). 📺 📻
Registration (Anmeldung) is mandatory and should be done during the first two weeks after the start of the contract!
Separating garbage is very, very important to us and really should be taken seriously!! Wrong garbage separation gave us already stress with the garbage company and led to a big fine (paid by the renters) and 4 weeks of not picked up garbage. It can also lead to the termination of the contract. So please inform yourself beforehand and follow the garbage separation information in the flats and corridors! 🗑️
We also have two friendly cats in the house, that sometimes come over to cuddle. Just that you know and are ok with cats. 🐈
