The room is about 20 square meters, with two big windows that let in plenty of natural light. It’s warm, cozy, and has everything you need—a comfy sofa, a desk, and plenty of space for your things. Some stuff from the person moving out will still be here, but there’s still plenty of room for you to make it your own. It’s a great space to relax, work, and feel at home—perfect for someone who’ll take good care of it!
Das Zimmer ist ca. 20 Quadratmeter groß und hat zwei große Fenster, die viel Tageslicht hereinlassen. Es ist warm, gemütlich und hat alles, was du brauchst – ein bequemes Sofa, einen Schreibtisch und genug Platz für deine Sachen. Ein paar Dinge von der Person, die auszieht, werden noch da sein, aber es gibt trotzdem genug Raum, damit du es dir gemütlich machen kannst. Es ist ein toller Ort zum Entspannen, Arbeiten und Wohlfühlen – perfekt für jemanden, der sich gut darum kümmert!

We live right next to the tram station, and U6 (Seestraße) and U9 (Amrumer Straße) are about a nine minute walk away.
The Kiez Afrikanisches Viertel is pretty chill, we have a lot of Spätis, bars, restaurants and cafe around the corner.
Wir leben ganz nah an der Tram Station, und auch Seestraße (U6) und Amrumer Straße (U9) sind keine 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Kiez ist ziemlich ruhig, wir haben viele Spätis, Cafes und Restaurants um die Ecke. :)

You will be sharing the flat with Maria (from Spain), Jana and me, Maira (both from Germany). We are speaking a mix of german, spanish and english with each other, but mostly german at the moment. We are happy to communicate in english, as we often do with our international friends. We have been coliving for some years now, creating a very harmonious, open and stable home together. Although you might only stay with us for one month we would like to welcome you into our WG life, which isn´t strictly structured, but characterized by mutual respect and good communication. We often leave the door to our rooms open, run around half dressed and generally feel very comfortable in our home. We often have friends visiting who sometimes stay late.
We have a common budget for groceries, take turns shopping necessary things for the WG and have a cleaning schedule. It would be important to us not only that you don´t mind all that, but that you actively strive for a similar way of living together.
Besides those hard facts, anything goes.
We are all busy girls, studying, working and also traveling quite a bit.
But we often find the time for a coffee or a beer together, we are very relaxed about everything. We all need time to ourselves as well.

Wir sind Maria (aus Spanien) Jana und Maira (beide aus Deutschland). Die WG-Sprache ist gerade meistens deutsch, gemischt mit Spanisch und Englisch. Aber wir passen uns natürlich an, sodass alle verstehen. Inzwischen leben wir schon seit einigen Jahren zusammen und haben ein harmonisches, offenes und stabiles Zuhause geschaffen. Wir haben kein klar strukturiertes WG-Leben, das wichtigste sind uns gegenseitiger Respekt und gute Kommunikation.
Wir haben eine WG-Kasse für Essen und Notwendiges, denken alle (meistens) mal ans Einkaufen und haben einen funktionierenden Putzplan.
Es ist für uns oberste Priorität, dass wir uns zuhause alle wohlfühlen. Wir lassen oft unsere Zimmertüren auf und laufen gerne mal halb angezogen in der Wohnung herum.
Auch wenn wir gerade alle viel zu tun haben, sind wir gerne ein offenes Haus, laden Freunde zum Essen ein und lassen Besucher bei uns übernachten.
Auch wenn du nur für einen Monat bei uns sein wirst, wäre es uns wichtig, dass Du eine ähnliche Idee vom Miteinander hast.
Wir kommen oft bei einem Kaffe oder Bier zusammen, aber es gibt keinen Zwang. Wir alle brauchen auch Zeit für uns und Erholung vom Alltag.
