The appartment
The whole flat has been carefully rebuilt and renovated, including 4 rooms, a large, beautyful kitchen with dishwasher, ceran-infrared-stove, oven, large freezer/frigde, washing machine, coffee-&tea machine, microwave and grill, waterboiler, ricecooker, toaster etc.
Bathroom
The appartment offers 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub and japanese style washlet-bidet toilet, and a smaller one including a washbowl with shower. Both offer custom-made very large top-quality mirrors.
Lage
Eine der wenigen ruhigen Nebenstrassen im Prenzlauer Berg, kaum Verkehr, aber direkt im Kiez. Daher sind Clubs, Kinos, zahlreiche Restaurants, (Bio)Supermärkte und Spätkauf, Kaffees und ein grosses Einkaufszentrum allesamt direkt nebenan oder innerhalb 50-300 Meter Laufstrecke.
Die klassischen Prenzlauerberg-Spots, wie Kastanienalle, Kulturbrauerei, Kohlenkeller, Prater, Pfefferberg usw sind alle in Laufreichweite oder 1-2 Tramstops entfernt. Auch Mitte und Friedrichshain sind direkt via S-Bahn schnell erreicht.
Öffentlicher Nahverkehr
Nicht mehr als 300-400 Meter zu allen Verkehrmitteln: S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram und Bus.
Parken
Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, direkt vor der Wohnung oder um die Ecke. Entweder günstig mit Anwohnerparkschein oder teuer mit Parkuhr.

One of the few quiet and calm streets in Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg, low traffic.
However clubs, cinemas, restaurants (including german, italian, japanese, dutch, korean, french, indian, tunesian), super&24h-markets, coffeehouse, and a modern large-scale shopping mall are across the street or within 50-300 meters walking distance as well.
The renowned Prenzblauerberg-locations for culture, cult & entertainment (as Kulturbrauerei, Kohlenkeller, Kastanienalle, Prater, Pfefferberg etc) are within walking distance or 1-2 stops with the Tram. Mitte and Friedrichshain - by S-Bahn - also are directly connected and reached quickly.
Public transport
300-400 meters to all mayor public transport (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram and Bus).
Parking
One always finds a parking space directly in front of the appartment or around the corner; however it isnt free for visitors not living in the area.
Sport & nature
The well-known sports arenas (as Jahn-Stadium, Max-Schmeling-Halle etc) as well as the popular public garden „Mauerpark“ are at the end of the street – and there is a small private garden just behind the entrance to the appartment.
In der schönen renovierten 4-Zimmer Wohnung mit moderner Küche, 2 Toiletten+Badezimmer wird ab 1.11.24 ein Zimmer frei.
Die Mitbewohner sind entspannt und international - mit fortgeschrittenen Deutschkenntnissen. Anmeldung geht selbstverständlich, und gesucht werden präferiert WG-Mitbewohner die 3 Monate oder besser längere Zeit bzw. open end bleiben möchten.
One room in the WG will be available starting 1.11.24.
The flatmates are international & relaxed: in their mid-late 20ies. German language skills are from solid to native. Registration is possible, and we prefer flatmates who would like to stay at least 3 months, preferred open-end.

In der WG arbeitet brav ein Putzroboter (saugen und nass wischen).
Lager
Optional sehr viel Lagerfläche in 4 grossen und gut zugänglichen Kellerräumen.
Rauchen
Ist in der WG nicht gestattet, jedoch befindet sich direkt vor der Tür ein geschützter und überdachter Bereich und ein netter kleiner Garten.
Haustiere
Eine Katze besucht die WG regelmässig, daher sind leider keine weiteren Haustiere gestattet.
Zudem bietet das Appartment einen Drucker mit Farbkopierer, Scanner und Fax.
Fahrradparkplatz im Hof oder regengeschützt im Hof/Gartendurchgang.
Üblicherweise werden die gemeinsam genutzten Räume alle 2 Wochen je 2 Stunden von einer Putzkraft gepflegt - 4 Stunden insgesamt. Kostenanteil hierfür ist 15€ pro Monat.
Robot
There is a small cleaning robot in the WG (vacuum and wet cleaning).
Storage
Plenty of room for storage in the 4 cellars of the appartment, with good access. Room in the spacious cellar rooms can be rented optionally.
Smoking
Is not allowed in the appartment. However one can smoke sheltered and rain-protected directly outside of the appartments. The entry area is roofed, and for the sunny days there is a nice garden just besides its door where you can smoke as you like.
Pets
Sadly not allowed, as there is already an ocassionally visiting cat in the appartment.
Also available: a printer, color photocopier, scanner and fax.
Usually a housecleaner maintains the bathrooms and kitchen every 2 weeks, 15€ monthly portion of cost for this.
