Namibian, Master's Student looking for Accommodation close to Hochschule Anhalt

Hi, I’m Cari.
I am a 25 year old, female, student, coming from Namibia to Dessau-Roßlau to start my Master’s in Architecture at Hochschule Anhalt. I spent the last 5 years completing my undergraduate studies in architecture in South Africa.
I took a gap year after school in 2016 and worked as an au pair in Hamburg Germany, and then spent a few months in Germany again last year. I therefore can speak a bit of ‘basic’ German and have a pretty good understanding of the language.
I am used to living with other people/ friends and I have a pretty good understanding of what is expected from me as a fellow flatmate. I have a very diverse friend group and tend to get along with most people I meet. I like to think of myself as pretty easy-going, easy to talk to and comfortable to be around. Further, I am passionate about architecture and other disciplines that accompany it such as art and history. I am pretty social and like spending time with friends and meeting new people, other than that I also like spending time by myself, reading, going for a walk/ run, spending time outdoors. Traveling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures and trying new types of food is also a big part of my life, I am always ready to go on the next adventure.
What I believe I can offer while living with me: I like to maintain a clean and hygienic living environment, I believe open and respectful communication is important to maintain harmony in the flatshare, I understand and respect personal boundaries and try to find the balance between socializing and allowing space for others to have their own private time, I am happy to share responsibilities, I have the ability to adapt easily and accommodate to the needs of my flatmates where needed, I am responsible, reliable and considerate of the people around me. I love cooking and would love to cook together from time to time if that is something that you would also like.
