Our shared flat is spread over two floors and the free room is on the ground floor. Please also note that the shared flat is in Hilden and not in Düsseldorf-Bilk, something else is shown on the map.
Available room:
The available room is on the first floor, right next to the stairs as seen in the picture. It has high ceilings and is on the ground floor. The room is fully furnished as shown in the images. The room is very spacious and you bring your furniture as well. If you any other questions, lets connect on call and discuss.
About House:
On the ground floor there is also the kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet and an extra toilet.
On the first floor the other four flatmates have their rooms and there is also a bathroom with shower and toilet. Behind the house we also have a big garden and a covered terrace which we all like to use . Our house is in a quiet side street with very little traffic. There is a Späti and a bakery right around the corner, 1 minute walk. There is also a bus (785) right outside the front door that goes directly to Düsseldorf's old town.
Hilden's city center is also not far away; in 10 minutes you can walk to various supermarkets, pharmacies, post office, drugstores, H&M etc. and the market square with cafes and restaurants.
In 5 minutes you are at the train station. From here you can take the S1 directly to Düsseldorf main station (12 minutes). Or you can take the bus from here to Düsseldorf-Benrath (10 minutes), for example, where regional trains also leave from. Benrath can also be reached by bike in 15 minutes; there is a large palace park and a very beautiful bank of the Rhine.
From here you can also quickly get to the countryside: very close to our shared apartment - about 10 minutes by bike - is a nature reserve with forest, Elbsee and Unterbacher See. It's really idyllic there: a really good place to get out, breathe deeply and enjoy nature.

Even though we have very different backgrounds, interests and personalities, we have in common that we like to shape our shared apartment life together and are interested in each other. We try to treat each other with respect and give each other space, regardless of whether you want to be alone or need someone to talk to or listen to. The atmosphere is very friendly and open. Sometimes we arrange to go cycling, do sports, have breakfast or a barbecue together, make ourselves comfortable on the terrace, go to the ice cream parlor, we have danced and celebrated a few times, or we just meet by chance somewhere in the house or garden and get stuck in a nice conversation.
