Background about the house:
The house is a part-preserved part-restored "Stadtvilla" with 4 levels. Each floor operates as its own WG per floor. In the front shared garden there is an outdoor table/bench set, and an area for bikes. During the warmer periods of the year we often relax out the front with drinks, and host barbecues or parties etc. The house also has a cleaning lady that comes once a week.
Who are we?
The age group of those in the house lies in the mid-20s to mid 30s and many come from international backgrounds (i.e. Austria, India, Greece, Poland, Turkey etc., in addition to Germany), so English is naturally the common language of the house and internationals are very welcome. Practically everyone is in the early/mid stages of their career working across a variety of professions/industries.
For whom?
This room is ideal for everybody who is staying in Frankfurt for a limited amount of time e.g. internship, trial time at work, project work, timely limited contract, sabbaticals, language course or people who are new in Frankfurt, need a place to stay and sort things out before they look for an own place. Our target group are young professionals and internationals within the age of 25-35 who are working, yet enjoy the company of a shared house community. Since we don't have a lot of storage, people who arrive with only their suitcases are perfect, due to the fact that all rooms are furnished and we don't have storage to place any furniture anywhere else.
room:
The room is small (12m2) and cozy with everything you need e.g. bed, table, chair, cupboards, closet, mirror and some storage space under the bed. Furthermore, there is a little window providing fresh air ventilation and natural light.
Please note that this room only holds little natural light (despite the window), it is bright due to the light installation in the room, but rather dark by nature.

Excellent location in the heart of Sachsenhausen and within walking distance to all the essentials:
- 3 Min to Schweizer Straße (main street): cafes, restaurants, bakeries, bars, cider houses etc.
- 3 Min to U-Bahn stations Schweizer Platz and Südbahnhof (lines U1, U2, U3 & U8)
- 3 Min to S-Bahn station Frankfurt Süd (lines S3, S4, S5 & S6)
- 5 Min to supermarkets (Rewe, HIT, Lidl) as well as Dm and OBI
- 10 Min to the Main river
International house community is always exciting, because you get to learn about new cultures, try exotic foods and just make the world a smaller place. If you are new in Frankfurt and are looking for contact, we are the right kind of crowd for you. We are always interested in getting to know new people with whom you can sit, have a chat and drink a glass of wine after work.
We would prefer to have someone that is between 25-35 and working, and most importantly open and fun to live with.
The monthly rent includes all utilities as well as wifi, GEZ and furnishing. Also, one of the nicest benefits is that once a week a cleaning lady is coming over to clean the common rooms. Nevertheless, we are a tidy house hold and keep our common rooms clean so that we all can enjoy the living spaces together. The deposit is two months’ rent.
