The room is located on the 2nd floor of a renovated old building in the beautiful Sedanstreet. It is 14 m² in size and has a north-facing window. The apartment also has a large living room, a kitchen with a dishwasher and various kitchen utensils for cooking and baking, a sunny balcony with a beautiful view of the inner courtyard and a bathroom with a bathtub, washing machine and dryer.
The rooms are bright and quiet, with typical high ceilings and parquet flooring.
The shared flat is located right between the train station and the main university buildings (each a two-minute walk). The city center and the nearest tram stop are just a few minutes' walk away. There are two supermarkets in Sedanstraße and the whole area is full of bars, cafés, restaurants and beautiful houses. The Dreisam river, which flows through Freiburg and whose banks are perfect for walking and cycling, is also just a few minutes away.
About your future flatmates:
- Adrien, French, is a web developer working for an environmental NGO, he loves NVC, health and political topics, reading, and playing games. He is also the Hauptmieter and is vegan.
- Christian, German, just finished his master thesis in geo engineering. He has several bands and almost always makes some kind of music. Likes to do sports and is always down for a beer.
- Miriam, German, does a physics PhD and is able to repair anything in the flat. A Proper Freiburger, she loves biking and cooking. She is vegetarian.
- Rapha, German, does work for the public service in the field of waste management. Loves a good hike, good food and good movies.
We all get on well and share values such as caring, support, respect, ecology and cleanliness. Although we have different personalities and lifestyles, it's nice to meet up naturally, cook and/or chat whenever it suits.
Occasionally we also do other activities together, such as a vegetarian/vegan dinner, bike rides, parties, brunches, pizza nights, movies, board games, puzzles, Pilates, crafts, etc.
We are planning to do castings on the evenings of 4th and 5th December.
We are looking for someone who shares our values and plans to stay in Freiburg and our WG for at least 1.5 years.
Since we are three guys at the moment, we are looking for a female to keep the genders balanced.
