Mit dem Fahrrad dauert es etwa 5min in die Stadt runterzurollen. In die andere Richtung ist der Wald quasi nebenan. Die Norduni ist auch super zu erreichen. 2 Min zu Fuß von der Haustür gibts sonst auch die Bushaltestelle direkt gegenüber der Bäckerei.

It takes about 5 minutes by bike to go down to the city. In the other direction, the forest is practically next door. The northern university is also easy to reach. There is also a bus stop 2 minutes away from the door.

Die Menschen, die hier wohnen sind überwiegend Studis, aber auch Arbeitende und auch sonst mit dem Leben Beschäftigte. Der Altersdurchschnitt liegt irgendwo bei Mitte-Ende 20. Wir leben alle gerne zusammen, kochen, lassen uns bekochen, spielen was, (zB Ligretto zum Stress abbauen), gucken nen Film zusammen, quatschen und chillen, gehen auch gern gemeinsam auf Partys, machen Feuer im Garten, mähen Rasen, bauen was, zerstören was und noch mehr. Unser Haus ist ein bunter Haufen und auch gerne besucht! Ein bisschen Trubel ist oft, aber durch das große Haus, den Garten und die Waldnähe gibt es auch viele Rückzugsorte.
Viele von uns teilen Lebensmittel, aber auch da ist es möglich, sich rauszuziehen.

Wir befinden uns derzeit (am Anfang) eines Prozesses, unser Zusammenleben diverser und diskriminierungssensibler zu gestalten. Wir haben den Anspruch, einen Raum zu schaffen, in dem sich alle wohl fühlen können. Derzeit leben hier nur weiße Menschen, viele von uns queer und cisgeschlechtlich und die meisten mit akademischem Hintergrund. Wir kommunizieren gerade auf Deutsch, können uns aber auch gut vorstellen, in unserem Alltag Englisch zu reden. Unser Haus ist unter anderem durch mehrere Treppen nicht barrierearm.

Als linkspolitische Hausgemeinschaft im Ostviertel streben wir ein solidarisches Zusammenleben an. Das bedeutet u.a. eine gerechte Verteilung der anfallenden Arbeiten rund ums Haus mit Blick auf vergeschlechtlichte Rollen, um diese zu überwinden.
Schreib gerne, was du dir vom WG-Leben wünschst, wenn du dir ein Zusammenleben mit uns gut vorstellen kannst und wer du bist und was dir wichtig ist.
Da wir mit vielen Menschen hier im Haus die WG-Suche koordinieren müssen, kann es etwas dauern, bis wir uns melden und auch bis wir einen Termin gefunden haben, an dem alle bzw. viele können. Wir versuchen, allen zu antworten, aber es kann sein, dass wir es nicht schaffen.

Die angegebene Miete kann sich noch minimal (+-5-15€) ändern. Zur Miete komme noch anteilig ca. 7€ im Monat für GEZ, Internet und gemeinsame Anschaffungen dazu.

Living together
The people who live here are mostly students, but also workers and people who are busy otherwise with their lives. The average age is somewhere in the mid to late 20s. We all like to live together, cook, get cooked, play games (e.g. Ligretto to reduce stress), watch movies together, chat and chill, go to parties together, make bonfires in the garden, mow the lawn, build things, destroy things and much more. Our house is a colorful bunch and we like to be visited! A bit of hustle and bustle is common, but with the big house, the garden and the forest nearby, there are many places to be on your own.
Many of us share food, but it is also possible to not be a part of that.

We are at the beginning of a process to make our living together more diverse and sensitive to different forms of discrimination. We want to create a space in which everyone can feel comfortable. Currently only white people live here, many of us are queer and cisgender and most of us with an academic background. Currently we are talking in german but we are all willing to switch to English in our everyday- life. Our house is not barrierfree (among other thing it has s a lot of stairs).

As a political house community in the Ostviertel we strive for a solidary living together. This means, among other things, a fair distribution of work around the house with a view to gender roles in order to overcome them.
If you can imagine living together with us, please write us about your wishes, who you are and what is important to you.
Since we have to coordinate the roommate search with a lot of people here in the house, it can take a while until we get back to you and also until we have found a date that works for everyone. We will try to respond to everyone, but it is possible that we will not be able to.

The indicated rent can still change minimally (+-5-15€). In addition to the rent there are about 7€ per month for GEZ, internet and common purchases.
