Hello :)
Since I'll be in South America for two months in fall, I'm renting out my room for that time.
I hope you have already enjoyed the apartment pictures. Your room is nice and bright, like the whole apartment, and faces the back, which makes it very quiet. In addition to the living room, this bedroom also has balcony access. I would leave all the furniture in the room and free up some space in the closet and dresser for your things.
The living room invites you to watch a film together or have game nights with friends. I also do home office here during the week. So you could do that too. The large balcony leads off the living room - for me the highlight of the apartment. There is sun here from midday to evening and since there are no balconies on the opposite house walls, you don't feel like you're being watched. From the self-made balcony bed you can look into the green trees - so the feel-good atmosphere is perfect.
The kitchen is not particularly large, but thanks to the extra storage room it offers enough storage space for everything.
Yes, otherwise I don't know what else to write about the apartment. I think the pictures give the best impression anyway.
The apartment is located in beautiful Hoheluft-Ost. The street is very quiet and the balcony faces the "green" at the back. There are so many beautiful cafes and restaurants in the area and so many beautiful old buildings. The Isebek Canal is right around the corner and the Alster is about a 20-minute walk away. Both great for walking or running. Various supermarkets are within walking distance. For gym lovers, there are, for example, Rocycle, Fitness First and Elbgym practically next door. But I can also recommend jogging along the Alster or the Isebek Canal. So there is everything you need to live and feel good.
I usually go everywhere by bike. The bus/train connection is also great. The Hoheluftbrücke and Eppendofer Baum subway stops can both be reached in about 10 minutes on foot and with Klostersten there is even another line nearby (e.g. to the airport). However, the 5 bus, which can be reached in just 5 minutes, should not be underestimated. Before I moved here, I didn't take buses seriously as a means of transportation, but the 5 bus has its own bus lane all the way into the city center, so it never gets stuck in traffic. That's why this has now become my bad weather alternative.
My new roommate Laura will only move in in September. She has just moved to Hamburg for her job as Project Manager at Chanel. However, she plans to spend her weekends in Berlin, so you will probably have the apartment all to yourself most weekends.
I hope the photos and my description convinced you. If the apartment and the period suit you, please write to me and we will arrange a viewing appointment online or on site.
I'm looking forward to you,
Sarah
