The room is about 16 square meters and is rented furnished. Bed, working table, chair etc. Please check the picture attached.
The room is on the west side and the window makes the sunlight come directly into the room. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset on the balcony with a fantastic view of Heidelberg.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and has plenty of counter space for cooking and entertaining. The living area is bright and airy and has plenty of seating for relaxing and socializing. The apartment is conveniently located close to public transportation, shops, restaurants, and other amenities. This is an ideal flatshare for those looking for a comfortable and convenient living space.
The apartment is located in the Rohrbach district, 2 mins to Rohrbach Market and 2 mins to Eichendorffplatz. It takes about 10 minutes by bicycle to Bismarckplatz and 15 mins with tram line 23.
In the immediate vicinity, there is a supermarket, a pharmacy, a post office, a bicycle shop, and a bakery. All wishing 2-3 mins walk.
You will be sharing the flat with a young Brazilian guy, Higor. He is from Brazil and doing PhD here at EMBL.
Apart from his work/study, he loves to play music, and he is enrolled in a band here in HD. He also likes a lot to do some sports (bouldering, cycling or running - specially when he is late for the bus :D. He likes to learn new languages to be able to talk with others and learn about other countries and cultures!
Besides this, he is a very easygoing person, clean and organize, and he is always happy to help whenever it's needed!
So, he will be glad if you would like to join any of the activities, and if not then he is also fine with that and respect your privacy.
One thing which you would need to make sure of is that when it comes to the common area, you follow some basic rules and keep the apartment organized.
