The flat is located in the very beautiful Neuenheim suburb of HD which is very near to backeries, the Neuenheim weekend markets, language schools, university and to the Philosophenweg. All of these places can be reached within 5 to 15 minutes. The tram stop is only less than 1 min walk away. There are many eating places, doctors, and pharmacies around. It is also right next to a LIDL.

Wir wohnen zu sechst in unserer WG. Trotzdem gibt es genug Platz, so dass man sich auch in aller Ruhe zurückziehen kann. Wenn es die Zeit ergibt sitzen wir gerne in der Küche zusammen und kochen auch ab und zu, diskutieren oder spielen auch mal etwas zusammen. Uns ist wichtig das man gut miteinander klar kommt, so dass wir uns nicht als Zweck WG bezeichnen würden. Wenn du offen, neugierig und Nichtraucher bist dann würden wir dich gerne kennen lernen.

Was uns wichtig ist:
- Offenheit, Ehrlichkeit und Herzlichkeit. Gerade beim gemeinsamen Wohnen sind uns ein offenes Miteinander sehr wichtig, damit langfristig ein schönes und vertrautes Verhältnis entstehen kann.
- Eine gepflegte Grundordnung und Sauberkeit – ohne hier zu penibel zu sein.

- Sinn und Zeit für Kaffee, Humor und Gemütlichkeit :)

There are a total of 6 people in the flat, including yourself. The flat is big enough for you to retreat to your own space and have peace. They enjoy spending some time in the kitchen but often have very different schedules so do not really cook together. They are the best WG-mates I have ever had. They are extremely respectful of personal space and are friendly and welcoming. I moved to Germany only knowing them and they have told me all the places to go in HD. I am sure you will have a great time living with them.

We have a cleaning lady that comes every week to clean the house.

Zum 1.Mai (möglicher Einzug ab 15.4.) wird in unserer liebevoll bewohnten Altbau-WG (ca. 200 m²) ein helles und großzügiges Zimmer (ca. 28 m²) frei.

Was dich erwartet:
Historisches Ambiente: Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in einem Gebäude aus dem 19. Jahrhundert im Herzen von Neuenheim. Die Hofgemeinschaft teilt sich einen schönen Garten.

Top Lage: Nur 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Stadtzentrum, dem Neckar und Bismarckplatz. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lidl, Rewe, Feinkostläden), Bäckereien und Banken sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso wie die Anbindung an Tram und Bus (3 Minuten Fußweg).

Teil-möbliertes Zimmer: Das Zimmer verfügt über ein clever integriertes Bettsystem – das Bett ist unter der Empore versenkbar auf Rollen und verbleibt im Zimmer, sodass du viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen hast. Außerdem befindet sich im Zimmer noch ein Kleiderschrank, den du übernehmen kannst.

Wir wohnen zu sechst und leben in einer harmonischen Mischung aus Gemeinschaft und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Momentan leben dort:

Gemeinsame Stunden in unserer Küche – zum Kochen, Plaudern oder für kleine Spieleabende – runden das WG-Leben ab. Ab und an führen solche Abende auch in die nahegelegenen Pubs und Kneipen. In der Wohnung wird vor allem auf Offenheit und herzlichen und respektvollen Umgang geachtet. Dabei sprechen wir überwiegend Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch.

A bright and spacious room (approx. 28 m²) will become available on May 1 (possible move-in from April 15) in our lovingly lived-in flat share in an old building (approx. 200 m²).

What you can expect:
Historic ambience: our apartment is located in a 19th century building in the heart of Neuenheim.
Top location: Only a 5-minute walk to the city center, the Neckar and Bismarckplatz. Shopping facilities (Lidl, Rewe, delicatessens), bakeries and banks are in the immediate vicinity, as are streetcar and bus connections (3 minutes' walk).

Partially furnished room: The room has a cleverly integrated bed system - the bed can be lowered under the gallery on castors and remains in the room so that you have plenty of space to feel comfortable. There is also a closet in the room that you can take over.

About our shared flat:
There are six of us living in a harmonious mix of community and retreat. Currently living there:
A managing director of an environmental association
A doctor
A musician
A vegetable gardener
A supply chain manager
A theater teacher

Spending time together in our kitchen - cooking, chatting or playing games - rounds off life in the shared flat. From time to time, these evenings also lead to nearby pubs and bars. In the apartment, the main focus is on openness and cordial and respectful interaction. We mainly speak German, English and Spanish.
