Hallo ihr Lieben!
Wir wohnen jetzt schon seit rund zwei Jahren in unserer großzügigen Wohnung (knapp 200 Quadratmeter) im Westen von Leipzig, genau an der Grenze zwischen Altlindenau und Lindenau. In dieser Zeit haben wir viel erlebt und geschafft. Unsere Wohnung, die insgesamt 8 Zimmer umfasst, davon 7 Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, einen herrlichen Balkon mit perfekter Morgensonne, reichlich Gemeinschaftsfläche, eine gemütliche kleine Küche, einen Hauswirtschaftsraum, mehrere Bäder und einen Garten im Hof zur Mitbenutzung, hat sich zu einem echten Zuhause entwickelt.
Seit unserem Einzug haben wir nicht nur die Dielen im Wohnzimmer und in anderen Räumen freigelegt, geschliffen und geölt, sondern auch die Wände von alter Tapete befreit und frisch mit Kalkfarbe gestrichen. Unser Traum, ein gemeinsames Projekt zu schaffen, an dem wir alle mit Freude (natürlich je nach individuellen Möglichkeiten) weiterbauen und werkeln, um einen Ort zu gestalten, der unseren Wünschen und Vorstellungen entspricht, hat sich mehr und mehr verwirklicht. Wir haben in dieser Zeit nicht nur ein sehr angenehmes und harmonisches Zusammenleben aufgebaut, sondern auch viele kleine und größere Projekte umgesetzt. Natürlich gibt es immer noch das ein oder andere, das wir Stück für Stück angehen, aber das gehört einfach dazu.
Wir freuen uns darauf, unser Zuhause mit einer neuen Person zu teilen, die sich in unserer aktiven und kreativen Gemeinschaft wohlfühlt und dazu beitragen möchte, dieses kleine Projekt weiterzuführen.
Für ein knappes Jahr hat auch Flora hier gewohnt. Diese zieht nun aus um in eine Wohnung allein zu ziehen. Vergangenen Juni hat Flora das Zimmer renoviert und auch hier noch den Boden abgeschliffen, Wände von Tapete befreit und frisch gestrichen, sodass der 11qm Raum sonnig und luftig ist.

Hello, dear ones!
We have been living in our spacious apartment (almost 200 square meters) in the west of Leipzig, right on the border between Altlindenau and Lindenau, for about one and a half years now. During this time, we have experienced and accomplished a lot. Our apartment, which includes a total of 8 rooms, of which 7 are bedrooms, a living room, a wonderful balcony with perfect morning sun, ample community space, a cozy small kitchen, a utility room, several bathrooms, and a garden in the courtyard for shared use, has become a real home.
Since moving in, we have not only exposed, sanded, and oiled the wooden floors in the living room and other rooms but also freed the walls from old wallpaper and freshly painted them with lime paint. Our dream of creating a shared project, which we all continue to build and work on with joy (naturally, according to individual possibilities), to design a place that meets our desires and ideas, has become more and more a reality. We have not only built a very pleasant and harmonious coexistence during this time but have also implemented many small and larger projects. Of course, there is always one thing or another that we tackle piece by piece, but that's just part of it.
We look forward to sharing our home with a new person who feels comfortable in our active and creative community and would like to help continue this little project.
Since nearly one year Flora lived with us, moving out now to live in a place on her own. Last year in June she renovated the room so that its very cosy to live in now.

Unsere Wohnung (3. Stock, kein Fahrstuhl) befindet sich an einer belebten Straßenkreuzung in Altlindenau (genaue Adresse bekommst du natürlich rechtzeitig!). Trotz der guten Isolierung unserer Fenster, die den Großteil des Straßenlärms abhalten, bleibt die Wohnung lebendig und urban, wobei gelegentliche Krankenwageneinsätze uns an das pulsierende Stadtleben erinnern.
Die Verbindung in die Stadt ist ideal – in nur zwei Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind reichlich vorhanden und bequem erreichbar: Vom Kaufland bis hin zu Bioläden und Unverpackt-Geschäften, alles ist innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad erreichbar. Nicht zu vergessen, die verführerisch gute Pizzeria von Pekar direkt in unserer Straße.

Our apartment (3rd floor, no elevator) is located at a crowded street intersection in Altlindenau (you will of course get the exact address in time!). Despite the good insulation of our windows, which keeps out most of the street noise, the apartment remains lively and urban, with occasional ambulance operations reminding us of the vibrant city life.
The connection to the city is ideal – it takes only two minutes on foot to reach the nearest tram stop. Shopping facilities are plentiful and easily accessible: from Kaufland to organic stores and package-free shops, everything is within a five-minute walk or bike ride. Not to forget, the temptingly good Pizzeria Pekar right on our street.

Leider verlässt Flora uns jetzt und vielleicht bist genau du die Person, die diese Lücke in unserer lebendigen und vielfältigen WG (wir sind im Alter zwischen 25 und 33 Jahren) füllen möchte. Deine Mitbewohnis wären Mo, Claudia, Luca, Lee, Paul und Leonie. Mehr Infos gefällig?
Claudi, in Ausbildung zur Fachärztin im Bereich Kinder und Jugend, meistert gekonnt den Spagat zwischen Lohnarbeit und (kleineren oder größeren) kreativen Ausbrüchen. Ob sie ihre Backkunst perfektioniert oder in ihrem Lesesessel in faszinierende Welten eintaucht – Langeweile ist bei ihr ein Fremdwort. Achja: und natürlich hat sie einen Schrebergarten, der im Sommer auch reichlich Obst und Gemüse für die WG abwirft!
Luca, ist aktuell Student der Data Sciences und in den Momenten, in denen er nicht in die spannende Welt der Daten vertieft ist, tobt er sich gern am Klavier aus oder liest ein gutes Buch. Seine Leidenschaft für Musik zeigt sich auch in seiner Dauerkarte für das Gewandhaus. Außerdem kocht er gerne und isst noch lieber. Seine Fähigkeit, ein leckeres Abendessen zu zaubern, macht jede Mahlzeit zu einem kleinen Fest.
Mo ist ein vielseitiges und geschätztes Mitglied unserer WG, dessen Leidenschaft für Tennis nur ein Aspekt seiner vielfältigen Talente ist. Er verbringt viel Zeit auf Tennisplätzen und Turnieren und beeindruckt dort mit seinem Engagement und Können. Zusätzlich bereichert er unser Leben mit seinen hervorragenden Massagefähigkeiten, die nicht nur bei uns und dem Freundeskreis, sondern auch auf verschiedenen Festivals gefragt sind. Kreativ betätigt sich Mo als Hobbymaler, dessen lebendige und ausdrucksstarke Kunstwerke unsere WG-Räume schmücken und immer wieder zum Thema anregender Gespräche werden.
Leonie ist erst Anfang März aus Berlin in unsere WG gezogen. Sie hat gerade ihre Promotion am Umweltforschungszentrum begonnen und ist ansonsten viel auf Achse - Klettern, Tanzen, Singen im Chor, Wochenendausflüge ins Grüne… Trotzdem findet sie hin und wieder Zeit, die WG für eine Runde Gesellschaftsspiele (großer Fan!) zu begeistern oder gemeinsam zu kochen.
Lee und Paul, selbst gerade relativ frisch eingezogen, bringen jetzt bereits Lebensfreude, Muse für sponte Unternehmungen und gemeinschaftliche Geselligekeit in die WG.
Lee ist beruflich im Klimaschutz aktiv, immer für nen Schnack und ein komplettes Verquatschen zu haben, bei dem man die Zeit aus den Augen verliert. Lee bereichert die WG mit wunderschönem Geschirr und liebt es draußen unterwegs zu sein.
Paul hat meistens ein Grinsen im Gesicht und ist, nachdem er Film studiert hat, nach Leipzig gezogen. Nach einem halben Jahr Zwischenmiete in einem Hausprojekt im Osten lebt er seit einem knappen Monat bei uns.

Claudi, becoming to be a physician focused on children and adolescents, skillfully manages the balance between work and (smaller or larger) creative outbursts. Whether she is perfecting her baking skills or diving into fascinating worlds from her reading chair – boredom is an unknown word to her. Oh yes: and of course, she has an allotment garden that yields plenty of fruit and vegetables for the shared apartment in the summer!
Luca, our Digital Humanities student, is a true asset to our shared apartment, which he complements with an impressive combination of intellect and cultural flair. When he's not immersed in the exciting world of digital humanities, he unfolds his talent at the piano, where he plays with the same dedication and precision he devotes to his studies. His passion for music is also evident in his season ticket to the Gewandhaus – Luca is our expert on classical concerts and regularly brings a touch of high culture into our shared living. He is also a true connoisseur with a keen sense for good food and fine wines. His ability to conjure up an exquisite dinner turns every meal into a celebration.
Mo is a versatile and valued member of our shared apartment, whose passion for tennis is just one aspect of his diverse talents. He spends a lot of time on tennis courts and at tournaments, impressing with his commitment and skill. In addition, he enriches our lives with his excellent massage skills, which are in demand not only among us and our circle of friends but also at various festivals. Mo is also creatively active as a hobby painter, whose vibrant and expressive artworks decorate our shared spaces and often become the subject of stimulating conversations.
Leonie just moved into our shared flat from Berlin at the beginning of March. She has just started her PhD at the Environmental Research Centre and is otherwise on the move a lot - climbing, dancing, singing in the choir, weekend trips to the countryside... Nevertheless, she occasionally finds time to get the flatmates excited about a round of board games (big fan!) or cooking together.
Lee and Paul, who have only just moved in, are already bringing joy to life, inspiration for spontaneous activities and communal socializing to the shared flat.
Lee is professionally active in climate protection, always up for a chat and a complete rant that makes you lose track of time. Lee enriches the shared flat with beautiful dishes and loves being outdoors.
Paul usually has a grin on his face and moved to Leipzig after studying film. After renting a house project in the east for six months, he has been living with us for almost a month.
