My name is Soham, I am 25 years old, and I originally come from Mumbai, India. I moved to Lüneburg a year ago to pursue my PhD in Machine Learning with a focus on football analytics at Leuphana University, where I also teach a few courses each semester.

Having grown up in hostels and shared accommodations throughout my Bachelor’s and Master’s studies, I’m very comfortable with WG life. I value open communication, kindness, and a balanced lifestyle that blends community moments with personal space.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking (especially Indian dishes like rice, dal, and vegetables), playing sports such as football, futsal, and badminton, as well as cycling, hiking, and exploring nature. I’m just as happy with spontaneous game nights and shared meals as I am with quiet evenings at home. I also really love animals, and I miss my dog who I had to leave back in India with my parents, so if you have any pets, that would be amazing for me.

I’m currently on the lookout for a new room in Lüneburg. While being near campus is a plus, I’m quite flexible regarding location and furnishings.
