:: Our Situation ::
We are looking for a person who like the idea of living in an engaging environment to share our 3 bedroom, 3rd floor, 140 qm (1500 SqFt) apartment close to S/U-Wedding. We are a couple, Karen a German student finishing her Masters and Scott an American designer writing a book plus opening a cafe, who moved here from F-hain about 18 months ago to live well and be a part of a creatively developing neighborhood in the center of the city. And there is Mitsuru, our new roommate, a stage designer from Japan!
:: The room :: 19qm for 390€/mo
This room has 2 windows facing west that opens into the backyard. It is shown empty but will be furnished with a bed big enough for 2, desk/chair, lounge chair, a wooden clothing storage unit or/plus whatever you have. we even have enough chunks of wood to construct something clever if that's your thing.
:: The Deal ::
The rent covers all costs including electricity, gas heating, Nebenkosten and wireless internet. We are asking for 1 month security deposit. Ideally, we are looking for people who will stay longer than just a couple months but we are open to short term stays too. We like the idea of creating and maintaining a warm sense of home and developing good relationships.
:: The Apartment ::
The Apartment faces south with a balcony that opens to the street overlooking the Stattbad Wedding art/event center. Inside we have 3 bed rooms, 2 rooms of common space totaling 540 SqFt (50 qm) with a kitchen in between , 1 bathroom with a shower and a tub plus a couple of hallways that allow us to move around to all those places.
:: Other Stuff ::
We have 2 really great 2 year old cats named Boy and Girl so I don't think adding any more free roaming-type pets would be such a good idea ...
