1 room apartment or shared room for me and my partner

Firstly, i apologise for writing in english as i am planning to move to germany soon and do not yet speak German. My name is Andre and i am currently looking for 1-2 room apartments in Leipzig for me and my partner. Both of us have never lived in Germany before, but we are both excited to get to know the country and the people.

I am currently seeking employement in Leipzig and would be able to show means of paying for the apartment for the months to come after moving in. Also, as this is the first time i am settling in Germany i still do not have a German address that is required to hire a personal liability insurance, but i plan to as soon as the day of moving in or as soon as having the contract.
