Hey there,
I'm subletting my fully furnished flat from October 7th, 2024, until February 2nd, 2025. It's located on the 4th floor of an old building, very quiet and full of natural light. The flat is heated with a coal oven, which adds a cozy feel. Rent is €600 per month, with a €600 deposit. Please note that Wi-Fi is not included, but you're welcome to set up your own contract during your stay. There will be a contract for the sublet, and you can put your name on the letterbox, but please note that registration is not allowed.
The sublet is available for FLINTA* only. If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to reach out!

The flat is in a great location, with easy access to public transportation. The closest stations are U6 Seestraße and Osram Höfe, both just a short walk away. For shopping, Müllerstraße is nearby, where you'll find plenty of options like REWE, Bio Company, Vinh Loi, Penny, and Bolu. The area also has a variety of nice restaurants, offering different cuisines.
The neighborhood has a good balance of convenience and tranquility, with parks like Schillerpark and Volkspark Rehberge within walking distance. You'll also find cafés, bakeries, and small shops scattered around, making it a lively yet comfortable place to live.
The flat is heated using a coal oven, which is a traditional heating method that operates differently from standard central heating systems. Here’s how it works:
A coal oven burns coal to produce heat, which is then circulated through the flat. You'll need to regularly add coal to the oven to maintain a consistent temperature, especially during colder months. The heating process can take some time to warm up, so it's essential to plan ahead and light the fire early in the day or as needed.
While coal ovens can provide a cozy and steady heat, they also require some maintenance and attention. You'll need to ensure there's enough coal stocked and clean out the ashes periodically!
If you're not familiar with using a coal oven, I’m happy to provide guidance and tips to help you get started.
