Subrenting my studio flat for two months as I visit my family back home.
The flat is very spacious for its size. The mezzanine separates the sleeping from the living and working area, and therefore gives the feeling of having two rooms. In addition, the 2-sided bay window is as wide as the front wall, and floods the space with light all day long. The flat is East-facing, so when the sun is out, it comes inside during the morning hours. Includes fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with washing machine.
The Altbau is newly renovated, so you have very high ceilings, beautiful tall window frames, an old elevator, as well as brand new bathroom and kitchen finishings and installments.
The flat is very well-connected: a 3-minute walk from the Ubahn station Berliner straße (u7 and u9), and a 10-minute walk from the ring-bahn (Bundesplatz). The Volkspark Wilmersdorf is a 2 minute walk away.
All needed amenities and supermarkets (Edeka, Lidl, Eurogida, Rossmann) are located within 5- to 10 minute walks from the flat. The surrounding area has many great and international food options. The neighborhood and district itself is at the border between Wilmersdorf and Schöneberg, and is therefore both very safe and quiet, yet close to the lively scene of Schöneberg.
I am an architect, so I look after my space with the utmost love and care, and expect the same from the person to subrent it.
The rental period is flexible, contact me still if you are looking for something within 1-2 weeks of the specified dates.
Looking for someone who can use the space respectfully, with love, and take care of my plants. They get plenty of light, so are rather low maintenance. All they need is some water and good energy around them.
Ideal for someone in a period of transition and needs temporary accommodation. Not recommended for tourists, as it is not near your usual touristic areas. QTBIPOC and FLINTA will be given priority.
A kaution is requested, equivalent to one months‘ rent.
