Hello friend!
First to mention is that my beautiful apartment is decorated like my soul is, so its interior and decor is highly important and precious to me. It’s a cozy one room flat/ studio with all you really need. A small hall will lead to the bathroom with a shower on the left and if you're heading straight ahead another door will open up, where you can find the living/ sleeping room or „office“, which is connected to a balcony. The room has built-in wardrobes, where you can hang your clothes, if you wish. Tell me before how much space you’ll need so I can make space for your belongings as I am using it then this time free :) Else there is a dresser, also might fit well for you? Tell me how you travel or live to plan accordingly correct, so I can serve you better. Right next to the wardrobes is a pantry kitchen, which includes a fridge to cool your afterwork drinks and hot plates to cook your favourite food. Unfortunately there is no oven (only microwave in the shelter to bring) to warm up food, so you are automatically forced to cook fresh food! What a blessing! :) Whatever you need, just tell me. I try to get it for you for the time you're staying at my place. I barely use the kitchen since I am traveling too much (not at the moment), so that's why there is not that much kitchenware. At least there is a smoothie maker and an Espresso maker <3
And for your own good there is no TV! (I have a small projector and I can leave my music box for your use, only with deposit) :) You should rather put on some music and dance, read a book, I have plenty interesting books over here, or have some drinks on the balcony when it's pretty warm outside or take a walk by the river, called Main! On the riverside are a lot of museums, on the other side you can enjoy the only skyline in Germany (Because of the river, called Main, Frankfurt is also known as 'Mainhatten'). I can totally recommend to take a walk to the Main and get yourself a traditional apple wine/ cider ('Geripptes', special tumbler for apple wine in Hesse). Or head out to a platform to have a great view over whole Frankfurt.
The building has a wash machine and dryer you have to pay for 3€ and 2,50€! If you need to wash your clothes really clean (white collars), you can visit a launderette in the surrounding.
Since my apartment will be your home, you're having access to every corner of the flat. So take care of it as it's your own and please leave the accommodation in the same state as it was handed to you. I will clean up, clear the energies, change the bedding and take out the trash before and after the stay and so on, but try to leave the flat as found :)
If you arrive in front of the building, there will be an elevator to carry heavy baggage. If you're traveling with light baggage, you can take the stairs to the 3rd floor.
To get access to the 3rd floor, you need to use the keys for the main front door and security door, the big one. Entry is opposite the elevator. As you pass by the safety door, you need to walk straight ahead to the door with stickers or figured around, open it with the small key: 'Liebe ist meine Religion, Musik ist meine Sprache/ Love is my religion, music is my language'). Et voilà, you are about to enter my paradise on earth :)
I probably won't be in town, but still I can give you recommendations where to go or will just answer all your questions concerning the flat and city. As you wish. I will be available still (depends on the internet connection or data volume) if any questions are coming up to you. Just let me know, how I can help you :)
I am living in this area for some years now. I don't really know the neighbors, they change quite often, but they seem to be friendly when meeting in the hall way. It is a big residental complex, about 70 inhabitants, but there will be nobody getting on your nerves. I barely see any neighbors. Probably the boy next door will be listening to some music at home, hopefully it won't bother you. The other guy is working from home, writing his exams soon.
I'd like to kindly ask you to stay respectful as I am not quite sure how the neighbors react to complete foreigners. I had a lot of friends I was inviting to my home and it worked well for all of us until now. I would like to keep it that way, so I am able to stay in this flat. Therefore I am able to host people, so people are able to enjoy my sweet home and my chosen city, best base I can imagine for now to get mostly all in life, besides a beach in front.. but something close :) It would help me a lot not to bother my neighbors, so it will stay a peaceful place to live for everybody.
Please respect the neighborhood and the inhabitants. Please don't litter, there are bins all over the place :)
Btw my flat my change some, but always welcome you as a temple of light & love, filled with much hopes, full of accurate furniture, books, creative stuff to paint, canvases in every corner, and quite enough plants to feel cared for by mother nature.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! You can contact me anytime! :)
It would be lovely, if you would tell me some more about you and what you are going to do in Frankfurt, so I can help you out some more, especially in this time. I have a lot of friends and contacts to help you, if needed. See you hopefully soon <3 Best wishes
