Hallo ich bin Fah!

Which means “Sky” in the Thai language but that’s my nickname, My name is Pinthong Tripokha from Bangkok. I’m 29 years old and I’ll turn 30 in the middle of this year, When I’m in Germany :) This summer semester, I’ll be an exchange student at HafenCity University for the Resource Efficiency in Architecture and Planning program.

In Bangkok, I worked as an interior architect with six years of professional experience, designing shopping malls such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, and Central World.however, I studied for a master’s degree after work or on weekends.

My Master’s degree has completely changed my life in ways I never expected. It has taken me from the world of Architecture to the Business world. But most importantly, the incredible exchange students I’ve met from Europe have inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and decide to live abroad in Germany, particularly in Hamburg because of its fascinating architecture and creative atmosphere.

My personal life includes a lot of sports including skydiving, wake surfing, surf, paddle tennis, tennis, badminton. I really love to be outside. I’m a dog person and I really like to keep my place organized and clean. I don’t smoke and I can cook some Thai food :)
