Auch der Ihmepark als Naherholungsgebiet ist entspannt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Anbindung an den ÖPNV ist optimal. Direkt vor der Tür hält die Buslinie 120, einmal in Richtung Kröpcke (über den Aegi) und einmal Richtung Ahlem.
