Looking for 1-Room Apartment or Shared Flat in Leipzig (Move-in: End of Year)

Hello! I’m a 31-year-old recent graduate with a master’s degree in Economics and Politics, currently living in Freiburg. I’ll be relocating to Leipzig at the end of the year to start a full-time job as a researcher at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, and I’m looking for either a one-room apartment or a room in a shared flat with another person.

A bit about me:

- My biggest pet peeve is food in the sink.

- I’ve lived in several countries, including Morocco, Spain, Turkey, the UK, and Germany. I can speak English, Spanish, Catalan, and Moroccan Arabic, though my German is still basic (I’m working on it with a course!).

- I have been sharing apartments for about 13 now and if one think I learned is that open communication is key to comfortable living together.

- I enjoy staying active, mainly going to the gym, but I also love playing football, canoeing, and hiking. I’m a big fan of board games, table tennis, and pool.

- I’m a non-smoker and I can't stand the smell, so it's important that, if you smoke, you only do it in the balcony.

- I don’t have any pets (though I love animals, so pets in the flat would be a plus!).

- I cook regularly and I eat meat.

- I value a peaceful and clean living environment, I think having a cleaning plan is a must.

- While I appreciate socializing with flatmates, I also respect personal space and quiet time. I don't follow any religious beliefs, but I’m always open to different viewpoints and conversations.

- I love discussing politics and love to hear about other's ideas on how should we be organised as a society. But I avoid conspiracy theorists as much as I can.

Ideally, I’m looking for a furnished room or apartment, and I’m happy to arrange online interviews or in-person viewings as needed.
